For the keen fisherman the popular Waitahanhui stream is a 10 minute drive away or you can head down the lake to Turangi to visit the "Trout fishing capital of the world" For Ski enthusiasts take a drive to the Tongariro National Park where there are Ski fields to choose from or in summer take on the challenge of the Tongariro Crossing, considered the best one day hike in New Zealand

We have a strict no large group or parties policy, disruption to the neighbours will not be tolerated. If we are notified of parties or illegal activity you will be evicted.

Stay here at least once a year, great spot with views and plenty of room. Not too far from the CBD but does require you to drive there. Venue suits our purposes perfectly.
Our stay at this property was wonderful, the house has all of the necessary amenities and a lovely gas fireplace in the living area. The cleanliness was to a high standard and the location is optimal.

Perfect place for family to get away from a busy Auckland lifestyle.
Every room and space was greatly appreciated and admired.
A few minor problems with power plugs, lights, but that didn’t stop our family from having a great time enjoying the kitchen where a family comes closer together around great food and laughs.
Highly recommend this location.
We had a girls weekend here and it was perfect for us! Enough table chairs, big lounge area, good sized kitchen and good outdoor space to enjoy the sun! Two bathrooms was ideal and sleeping arrangements with bed configurations worked well! We would definitely come again! Maybe just bring some extra wine glasses and wine glass selection was limited! But overall a great place
The house was in a great location, with a good view with heaps of beds for everyone.
The only issue was that in the middle of winter on a freezing night, the gas heater didnt provide sufficient heat for the large open plan lounge

Adequate heating.
Beds in first bedroom on left as you enter were very creaky and the supplied pillows and linen were a bit lacking, the pillows were “hollow” feeling.
Would definitely recommend the home.
We are especially grateful to have had the security of the garage to store our motorcycles.

Needs a few things fixed. Light bulbs in lounge need replacing, shower heads in main bedroom ensuite need tightening as does the kitchen tap. Kitchen needs more chopping boards as there is only 1. Ensuite door into toilet does not always work, otherwise great place to stay. Will come again as they are only minor matters to fix.

Easy to find our destination, impressive on first view. Property large, open with excellent views from living areas. Plenty of beds for all, we were a group of 8 and fitted in well. Suggestions for small but meaningful improvements would be to regularly check the status of light bulbs and power points. Of the 12 lights in the living area upstairs, only 3 worked making life a bit dark & dingy in the evenings. Some of the girls had problems with non functioning reading lights in their bedrooms as well as some of the power points, making it tricky finding enough to charge all phones, readers, watches etc. Also a distinct lack of comfy seating in living areas, couches catered for only 5 people so 3 had to squeeze in on dining chairs. Other than this, we enjoyed our stay and were happy with the house.
