Relaxing Mountain Retreat with lots of decks and EV charging

Tucked in the trees above Lake Arrowhead, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of pines and oaks, makes it the perfect getaway.

The Hidden Treehouse is ready for a you to relax with enough room for everyone to have space to decompress.

Main Floor: Kitchen, Dinning area, sitting room in front of the fireplace, TV room for everyone to catch a movie. There are 4 large sliding doors that open onto front and back decks.

TV Room: Two electric Lazy-Z-Boys that let you pick that perfect position to watch TV, two other couches for everyone to relax. Several games are ready to play.

Dining Room: Large table enough for 10 people, right next to the kitchen right up against a wall of windows that look onto the pines.

Kitchen: Double electric oven, stovetop, new LG Refrigerator with two types of ice. Several appliance to make meal prep a snap.

Decks: We have decks right off the front of the house from the TV room and the dining area with chairs and side tables to cozy up to your favorite AM/PM beverage. In the back of the house we have an outdoor dining area next to the gas grill. Another seating area, and a large outdoor living room with three couches and Adirondack chairs. As dusk sets several outside like turn on keep the pathway lit for a few hours after sunset.

Bedroom 1: On the first floor has a queen bed, walk in closet, and attached bathroom.

Bedroom 2: Upstairs on the 2nd Floor with a Cal-King bed, attached bedroom, walk in closet.

Loft Bedroom: 2nd Floor, Queen bed, has a TV and skylight that opens up to the fresh mountain air, walk in closet.

Garage: Room for two, and a third can park outside. There is a level two EV charge inside the garage.

The Hidden Treehouse is perfect for family, friends, anyone looking for that place to relax and unplug and enjoy the peace of the mountain. We try and provide everything you need for an experience you will want to come back again soon.

Things to do nearby:

Twin Peak's Famers Market -every Thursday at 26012 CA-189 Twin Peaks.

Wildhaven Ranch is a wildlife sanctuary with indigenous animals to the San Bernardino mountains. Reservation is required.

Heaps Peak Arboretum is a really nice place to stroll and see the native plants and trees.

Rent a Duffy Boat on Lake Gregory - less than 20 min away, they have other boat rentals and Kayaks to rent by the hour. There is also a 2.5 mile trail around the lake.

We have a natural trail around the house that coyotes walk around dusk from time to time.

We have two security cameras outside: one in the front of the house that also turns on to light up the stairway when motion is detected, and another positioned outside the front door that activates at night when motion is detected

The host was very attentive and accommodating. I kept communication within vrbo messaging and host was always quick with replies. Beautiful and spacious home, very well maintained and clean. Our favorite room was the dining area by the big A-frame window, we absolutely loved the open tree view. Everything runs perfectly fine, no issues inside the home. Do not follow Google Maps address, use directions from their check-in guide. You will need AWD to get thru their access road during snow conditions. Will Abell Memorial is a great trail to explore and hike, only 4 mins away. Met the neighbors David and Robin and they were super sweet and welcoming. Would love to return again some day.

The house was spacious but felt comfortable and cozy. I absolutely loved the home, the location, the architecture and style. The floor to ceiling windows brought the outdoors in and the view from sunrise to sunset was stunning and yet I felt total privacy! The home supplied everything I needed in a perfect environment and the host, Justin, was amazing. The extra details and communication were so appreciated. One detail I didnt prepare myself for were the stairs to get in to the house with luggage and groceries. No complaints and very worth the little hike up, just happened to be recovering from a spine injury. All great!!

This mid century home delivers a relaxing mountain retreat as promised. In addition to all the modern conveniences you could ask for, it also gives a big blast of wit and sass with its clever decor. We kept our weekend away low-key and cooked most of our meals at home, and this home had every appliance/utensil I could ask for. We look forward to a future stay in this house.

Thanksgiving Retreat

We have stayed at the Hidden Treehouse with the family to celebrate Thanksgiving in style and it didn’t disappoint. We were welcomed with a kind note and a gift basket full of goodies. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful. I had such a great time reading a good book by the window looking at the trees, sipping hot coffee. We’ll definitely rent again! Thanks Justin.

Wonderful cabin for a family with children

My wife, 3 kids (ages 4,5,7) and I had an absolutely wonderful time at the cabin. It was very well represented in the pics. It was clean, spacious, comfortable and gorgeous. My kids loved the "loft" bedroom and the large outdoor patio and forest area they could explore in above the patio. It was only about 10 min drive to the village. Also for those with large vehicles, we have a 15 passenger van and was able to park with ease on this property.

Quick Getaway from LA

My husband, daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful 4 days at this property. The communication with the host was impeccable and small touches like a basket filled with goodies and personal note made us feel more than welcome! The home is beautifully decorated with plenty of spaces to relax with a good book or play a board game. The wall of windows with unobstructed views of the trees truly brought nature in. Just breathtaking! I needed another 4 days for sure!

Hip but Cozy

Our stay was smooth from the start. Owners were super responsive, the place is beautiful, with lots and lots of charm and gorgeous floor to ceiling window looking out at trees. Everything worked (a huge plus) and it was spotless when we arrived. The directions for use were clear and complete, the beds comfy, and it was very well stocked with everything we needed, and things we enjoyed using (games, puzzles, cosy throw blankets, coffee bean grinder!) Our stay was lovely, thanks to the beautiful Hidden Treehouse.

The picture’s do it no justice and everything was intended to make you feel like it’s your own home. The second we walk in we new we hit the jack pot. Lovely, well-appointed home in quiet neighborhood nestled in the woods

I've been going to Lake Arrowhead my entire life, and love finding corners of that community that are new to me. This was one! Up in the hills above Blue Jay, this awesome A-frame is the perfect spot when you want to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. From the very comfortable beds to the amazing decks designed to allow you enjoy the outdoors, you will enjoy this property. Also, Justin was awesome. It always helps when you have a host who is attentive and helpful.

This place is perfect!

We just got back from an incredible five-night stay at The Hidden Treehouse over Christmas, and it completely exceeded our expectations! As soon as we walked in and saw the Christmas tree with those huge windows framing the forest view, we knew we had found the perfect spot for our family getaway.This place is so unique—it's the perfect mix of modern and cozy, making it feel like home right away. As a family of graphic and UX/UI designers, we loved all the creative touches. My sons, both in their 20s, said, "You can tell creative people own this house and we feel like they are cool!"Justin was so helpful answering our questions, left us a lovely basket of goodies, and provided a binder with great recommendations for hikes, local eats, and fun shops. We checked out several and were thrilled with each find!We can't wait to return in the spring/summer to enjoy the beautiful upper deck and explore even more. Our only complaint? Having to leave this amazing spot!

Another lovely stay at the Treehouse. The house while being modern with cool art still has a way of being really homey. I hate every time that we have to leave. Justin is so great to deal with, he answers questions super promptly, he leaves the best welcome baskets, this time was a gingerbread treehouse for my daughter to decorate. He has games and puzzles available, it’s just the perfect winter getaway. We can’t wait to come back!!

Our stay could not have been better!

The property was super clean and neat. Justin took care of every detail, leaving a nice welcome treat and card. The house has a spectacular view, everything exactly as described on the page. We felt very welcome. Justin left us suggestions of places to visit and restaurants that we went to and loved! My daughter was happy because she could go out and play in the snow, and there are also nearby places to take the children to slide in the snow at no cost. Beautiful stay with my family and my parents. We will definitely return.

Truly a vacation

The cabin is truly a vacation. Lovely home with many places to just relax. Very comfortable beds! Also happy to have garage parking. Private access road so my boys got to play in the snow without the stress of cars constantly passing by. Definitely recommend.

The Hidden Treehouse was perfect for our family snow getaway! Just as advertised: a nice house in a quiet neighborhood that was a jumping-off point for my children to explore the snow. Nice amenities, clean, and spacious. Not that we needed him, but we knew that Justin was always available to answer any questions. Highly recommend!

Christmas Magic.

This was our second time staying here in one month, we love it up here, it’s so relaxing! Justin makes everything super easy and it’s very easy to get a hold of him if you have an issue. The house is so comfortable, fully stocked, the two fireplaces rock and the beds are comfortable. They even have games to play with your family. Seriously, I can not say enough good things. We’ll be back!

Magical Hidden Treehouse

We had such an amazing time at this little get away. Justin made everything super easy, including my favorite, a youtube tutorial on how to light all the fireplaces in the house. We have rented houses before and the fireplace is always a crapshoot, some little secret you need to know, or they just don't work at all. The videos made it so extremely easy. Also, usually beds in rental houses are not the most comfortable, I think people are trying to save money and just use any extra bed they can find. The beds at this place were so comfortable, the sheets and bedding so nice and they smelled wonderful. I'm usually not much of a scent person, they give me headaches, but these you just wanted to bury your face in them. The kitchen is fully stocked along with odds and ends, spices, little extras in the fridge that you may have forgot, that also helps a tremendous amount when you are doing cooking in a new house. I can not say enough about this place, it inspired my husband and I to maybe buy a place up there ourselves, but we'll have to find one with amazing windows and views like this one.....pretty hard to beat. We are actually already going back next week because we love it so much! Seriously, run don't walk to stay here.

Amazing Treehouse!

We had an incredible time staying at the treehouse and it was the most well appointed place we have ever stayed in. Incredibly clean, comfortable, cozy and impeccably decorated - the pictures do not even do full justice to the house. Justin was extremely responsive when we had a quick question and the guide to getting to the property is a must. Such a relaxing getaway and we can’t wait to visit again to enjoy the beautiful views and wonderful location.

Our family with young kids had a fantastic week in this house. Windows in open living area are great, kitchen is fully stocked. Location was awesome (just listen to Justin's directions, GPS maps may lead you astray!), short drive to hikes and sledding/skiing etc. Justin was a great host and super responsive

This is an absolutely beautiful property. The decor is splendid, a lovely and tasteful mix of modern and classic. The house was immaculately clean, and exceptionally cozy. Loved the linens and towels. Also, Justin was a fantastic host. He was accessible and friendly and really made us feel welcome. He gave us a hot tip about sledding in the area, and my kids had the best time. We can't wait to return!

Spectacular Getaway at the Hidden Treehouse

We would give our review more than five stars if we could. We have stayed at quite a few vacation rentals over the years. In our opinion, this was one of our very best experiences. Justin, the owner was so responsive, kind, and extremely thoughtful which made such a difference. The nice bottle of Justin wine and a welcome note was so appreciated. The house was more well-equipped than any other place we've stayed and so well stocked. Usually the kitchen gadgets, bakeware, dishes etc. are incredibly limited at rentals, but the treehouse had everything and more. In addition, the location is beautiful. The neighborhood is nestled in a dense forest area, but has hiking, restaurants, and lakes just minutes away. We look forward to trying to rent from Justin again, but are worried that it will be difficult to obtain once people find out about it.
