Overall the stay was great! We texted Christy to see about checking in early as we arrived earlier than expected and she replied yes right away.Due to unexpected weather, we were not sure if we would be able to check out on time. When I texted Christy she was quick to reply that they understood. Thankfully we were able to drive down the mountain and leave as planned. We loved the room set up, it was perfect for our work retreat with couples and singles.Overall the cabin was perfect for our stay!

Great stay!

Was a very cozy ambience and plenty of beds. Loved the kitchenware available for all sorts of cooking and baking. The kids loved the games in the living room. The host was outstanding in providing all of our needs! We will definitely stay here again!

Great Family Getaway

We had a wonderful time making some great family memories. My grandkid and adult kids loved the games, shuffleboard, and PacMan. The owners were quick to respond to a couple of questions we had. The cabin is spacious and cozy at the same time. There was everything we needed and then some available in this place! We'd highly recommend it and hope to travel back there someday soon.

Wedding Weekend

Weddings can be stressful but staying here made it easy. It was comfortable and relaxing. Enough room for everyone to sleep and enjoy each other’s company.

The owner was readily available and helpful. The cabin was better than my expectations. It was stocked with all the amenities of home. The street was hard to find but helpful that you have address right out front on plaque.

Great place to announce that there will be a new addition to our family

The cabin was the perfect gateway to inform our family that my wife and I will be grandparents for the second time and that it will be a baby girl. The cabin amenities and location was really more than I or our family were expecting. We were close to everything we wanted, Lake Arrowhead Village, markets, gas station, and lake. The first floor is an amazing place to spread around. There was always a place for everyone in and outside of the cabin. The entire family really enjoyed eating at the large dining room table that can accommodate more than 20 people. Being able to sit out on the deck and seeing the lake was truly special. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you for the wine and card.

CoZy Cabin

Our stay at this cozy cabin was wonderful filled with relaxation and comfort. We all had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful view . Mike and Christy where very attentive to our needs. Definitely recommend your next summer get away with them. Beautiful Walks nearby and fun activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Cozy retreat

The home was clean. The kitchen and bathroom well stocked. Relaxing balcony surrounded by forest trees in a quiet neighborhood. Room for large family.

Perfect Getaway

This was the perfect place for our family getaway. Close to everything we needed. TONS of space! Everyone had room for whatever they needed. Completely stocked with necessities. Would highly recommend.

Would have been a 5 star except.....

The house was a great property for the family, My husband myself a couple of friends and our kids (all in their 20's) Lots to do at the house. The beds were very comfortable and my kids said the the blankets were "Legit" We were there for a wedding just down the hill from there so the proximity to the wedding at Millers Landing was perfect. The owners added a nice and personal touch with a welcome note and a bottle of wine. The reason for a 4 star is because of the lack of communication from the management company re: check-in and instructions. I tried for several days to get a response via e-mail and then day of spent almost 2 hours on the phone with VRBO and they couldn't reach the property management company either. we live 3 hours away so I was quite nervous to see if we could even get in to the house.

Great time in lake arrowhead

We had 3 generation staying at the cabin. It was beautiful. Nice location, spacious and had everything we needed and more. The host was communicative and very nice. I would recommend the cabin to anyone. Loved all the outdoor space.

Beautiful scenery, great AC, comfortable rooms

Group of 12 thoroughly enjoyed our time at the house. There are so many little details that the host cared for, including things like hangers, a couple of extra mattresses, kitchenware that was in good condition, a large dining table, and extension cord for charging electronic devices. Overall An excellent experience and would highly recommend to everyone

Great Cabin

My family's first time experiencing cabin in the mountains, they loved everything about it. We were greeted with a nice card and bottle of wine from the host. The cabin was a good size to accommodate 12 people, play room to entertain and a nice outdoor area to hang out. We would definitely rent it again. Thank you for a great experience.

Great Family Gathering Spot

We shared this rental with another family and found the house accommodated us all perfectly! We loved the circular layout of the 1st floor, the large eating table and the beautiful porch. Plenty of space to spread out or gather together with a great view of the lake in the distance it had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend in the mountains.

We really enjoyed this home. Overall the home is well kept and clean and has so much to offer. It is very comfortable and quiet. It's just a short 2 mile drive to the village. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location

This proprety was the perfect gateway for my family and friends. The location was great, close to rhe village and local markets, space was also just as described, we BBQ watching the subset from the beautiful patio and the game room was the 'to-be' spot every night.

Exactly What We Wanted

My wife and I wanted to celebrate her 30th with friends away from the city. This was a perfect getaway and is as advertised. Cooked, relaxed, & played games in a stress-free setting that allowed us to build memories we might not have made at a hotel.

Perfect start to summer

My husband brought 7 teenagers up to this fabulous property to celebrate surviving a year of online school and graduation. This home is perfect for large groups. Plenty of beds and bathrooms and gathering spaces indoors and out. It’s immaculate, super clean and very comfortable. The teens took over the den/game room while my husband and I enjoyed the beautiful living room. The home is set up on a hill and is very private. It has a great view of the lake through the trees and the star gazing was wonderful. The owners are wonderful a d easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this home for your Lake Arrowhead vacation!

Hideaway

This was a great Stay for my husband birthday. We stayed a week and it was definitely a HIDEAWAY. If your looking to really be away from everything this is the place. Quiet and clean. Definitely recommend

Girls Scrapbook Weekend

This place was great with a beautiful view! the comfort of the cabin was awesome, plenty of room for 7 ladies without running into each other. Very Welcoming feeling from the start. We will be back.

Great getaway cabin!

Had such a great time at the Hewlander Hideaway. Our family loved the game room. The view of the lake from the deck and the side was so beautiful and relaxing. The owner made our stay very special too. Totally recommend!
