About this property
Great holiday accommodation at Kairakau Beach
Create fabulous memories at a typical old fashioned Kiwi Beach - togs, towels, family and friends, games on the beach, sandcastles, balmy evenings, laughter, board games, conversations and good food and wine .....
Kairakau Beach is a safe swimming beach and probably Hawke's Bay's best kept secret!
Great fishing, diving, surfcasting, cray fishing, paua, boat launching, Boat Club, Annual Fishing Competition, Children's Fancy Dress, great walks, kayaking down the river, waterfalls, and a very friendly community.
Explore our neighbours Te Apiti beach and Mangakuri beach with a walk around the shores at low tide or take a drive south and take in some snorkelling at Te Angi Angi Marine Reserve.
Also explore the wider Hawke's Bay - head to Napier and experience Art Deco, the fun of the Marine Parade or take a tour around our famous wineries, sample our local farmers markets, climb/drive Te Mata Peak for fabulous views or organise a day tramp up to Sunrise Hut or out to Te Puia for a hot swim in the bush or take the trip by tractor out to see the gannets at Cape Kidnappers. Return to The Quarters to bbq your market food, drink our local wine and relax.
There are no Hotels, Motels, Shops, Petrol stations or ATMs at Kairakau, the closest being Havelock North or Waipawa - (40 mins away).
