Bartlett By The Park - Location and Comfort Last minute specials

The house is a modern two storey executive townhouse, tastefully furnished throughout. This inviting and well equipped house features a bright, open-plan kitchen / living / dining area with good indoor/outdoor flow which is superb for escaping from the hubbub of the city.

The kitchen is fully equipped - assuming that you can resist the numerous local restaurants (within easy walking distance). On warm summer evenings you can relax on the deck or have a BBQ in the garden.

The three bedrooms are upstairs:-

* The main bedroom (queen bed) has a walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom
* The second bedroom has a queen bed and comfortable single sofa bed
* There is a single bed in the third bedroom. (plus single sofa bed)

The main bathroom with shower over bath is on this floor.

Parking is available either on-street or in the garage which is accessible from the house. The garage also has clothes washing/drying/ironing facilities.

We have had very positive feedback from both holidaymakers and business people.

Whatever your reason for coming to Christchurch, Bartlett By The Park is a welcoming house in a fantastic location.

* You can stroll or cycle through magnificent Hagley Park
* 10 minutes walk will take you to central Riccarton with its mall, cinemas and restaurants (to suit every pocket and taste)
* It is a short 15 minute drive to the Airport (domestic, international, Antarctic Centre)
* If Skiing is your thing, a 90-minute drive will get you there
* The fabulously picturesque town of Akaroa and the thermal resort of Hanmer Springs are both in easy reach for a day trip
* Handy for university and Hospital

It should be noted that Bartlett Street is a very quiet street and we ask all our guests to respect our neighbours.

We have had excellent feedback from previous guests and most of our bookings are from repeat guests.

Bartlett by the park stay

Host is great, very accommodating and friendly. Cool location walked across Hagley park to central CHCH bars and shops in about 15mins. If you don't want to be in the central city this is a good spot close by but a bit quieter than a hotel stay.

Great Location and Host

Great for kids, our sweet host thought of everything and was extremely accommodating. She even made special arrangements for my young children to sleep. Tons of toys for the kids to play with and there are even bikes for the adults! We had a great time here.

This is a wonderful comfortable house for a family of 4. We felt at home. We were greeted with cookies and our host made sure we were checked in personally. The location is ideal! When we entered, the flowers were lovely and welcoming. It's in a terrific location - the park, gardens, museums, city center and many restaurants were all within walking distance . The cookies ready to bake were a nice touch. The bed in the second bedroom could use a new bed.

Winter Get Away to see Family

I recommend tis property as it is very well equipped, including bikes & varoius activities for children. We arrived on a very cold Winters Day from Queensland & our host had the house lovely & warm for our arrival. The house was is a great house during winter as it is extremely cosy & warm. The gingerbread men ready to bake in the oven was a lovely touch.

Good Location to access Hagley Park

The house was clean and well supplied. We could walk to Hagley Park and downtown very easily from this location. Ceiling in second bedroom was kinda of low but got used to it quickly. And we did have off street parking which was great. Our host was very accessible and easy to work with during our stay.

Family and working trip

The extra touches of hospitality were really welcome and brought a warm sense of being cared for. It is a great location with a variety of restaurants, cafes and bars within walking distance. The kids loved riding the bikes around hagley park, and they were kept occupied playing table tennis while we finished work and sorted dinner.

Family accommodation for daughter's wedding

This property was exactly what we needed .... my daughter was getting married at Monavale, we wanted accommodation close to the venue with enough beds and bathrooms for 6 adults. The accommodation was comfortable, with everything we needed, close to a delicious asia restaurant which I recommend and walking distance from Monavale .... Brilliant

Fantastic property in perfect location

What a fantastic house, clean, very comfy and well equipped with everything you could possibly need and perfectly situated, close to the park and also restaurants, takeaways etc. An amazing host, Joan had left milk and fruit and chocolate and even a batch of gingerbread men ready to bake. This house was exactly as described. It is a well designed, well appointed and clean house with everything you need for a Christchurch holiday. Plenty of space for us and our two teenagers, and excellent location close to the central city and Hagley Park. Great communication from the host, easy check in, and freshly baked ginger bread on arrival was a lovely touch. Recommended

Terrific vacation rental

The description of this property on the "Overview" section of the internet site is very accurate. It was a fabulous stay for the 4 of us. The house is tastefully decorated, spotless and so comfortable. An information binder is provided that describes the locations of grocery stores, restaurants, city parks & attractions - all very useful. We really enjoyed walking through the nearby park on our way to various attractions. It is a beautiful area. Communication with the owner was very prompt and helpful. We wished we could have stayed longer - it was great!
