Stunning sea views and beautiful birdsong converge at this idyllic and private cottage nestled in the trees in Plimmerton. Relax on the sunny patio with a coffee or glass of wine, curl up with a good book or magazine or simply let your mind wander in charming surroundings with both bush and sea views.

Aspen Cottage offers beautifully presented studio accommodation with modern beach-chic decor. Cute and full of character, the self-contained studio is separate from the owner's house, and has its own private entrance and off-road car parking.

Plimmerton is a picturesque seaside village conveniently located 25 minutes north of Wellington city. With safe swimming beaches, excellent local eateries and stunning coastal scenery, Plimmerton is a popular and sought after destination.

A 5 minute walk from Aspen Cottage will take you down to the beach front and Plimmerton Boating Club. From there it is a scenic 15-20 minute walk along the esplanade to the village shops.

Plimmerton train station is located in the village, allowing easy access to both Wellington city and the Kapiti Coast. Train or car to Wellington is approximately 25 minutes. The ferry terminal is 20 minutes drive.

Porirua city is a quick 10 minute drive or train ride with attractions such as Te Rauparaha Arena, Pataka Museum, Aquatic centre and North City shopping mall.
