We spent more than a month at Woodburn Cottage. We quickly felt at home. The view is wonderful as we enjoyed watching the movements of both the cows and sheep as they ate their way up and down the hill sides.We enjoyed our weekly chat with Carol and all the recommendations that she gave us as what to see and do. We did follow up on many of the suggestions and had a great time doing so.The cottage served as well even during some very extreme weather with winds that exceeded 180 km/h. To top it all off, we experienced a 3.8 earthquake, but the cottage kept us safe through it all.Our month long stay was very pleasant one. Highly Recommend.

One of the most beautiful and clean rentals I have ever stayed at. Wish we could have stayed longer. Spend 3 nights here before getting on a ferry to the south island.

Great Accommodation - Great Location

This is a great base for exploring Wellington - especially if you use the local train from Tawa. The accommodation is very modern and very spacious, with a wonderful view from the large verandah. Highly recommended - would say again!
