Watch the tide fill the estuary from the breakfast table or we are so close you could even take your breakfast to this more private side beach and enjoy the sunrise with your toes in the sand.
Let kids be kids or even let the adult be kids and explore, swim, make memories and enjoy this treasured place.
Options of walking further into the Park and being picked up by water taxi and returned back. You can also cross the estuary at low tide to visit the ever enchanting Cleopatra Pools. There are so many option for exploring this great track.

**NO ROAD ACCESS**
Torrent bay is accessible by boat or by walking the Abel Tasman National park track. Water taxi services are available from Kaiteriteri. Or if you choose to walk the track it takes 3 hrs - 3.5 hrs and leaves from Marahau with beautiful views along the way. There is a low tide track across to Torrent bay inlet or a high tide that takes approximately 45 minutes longer which goes past cleopatra pools.
There are trolleys available by the main Jetty to bring your luggage to the Bach.
Our beautiful kiwi bach still offers a great comfortable service!
*Solar 12v lighting, fridge and TV.
*Gas ensures nice hot meals on the cook top, a hot shower after spending the day out on the sand and a washing machine so you can stay at the Bach as long as your food can last!
*Fire also heats water on wet-back (Gas and firewood provided)
*No convenience shops so bring a chilly bin to last you.
