We adored this lovely cottage. We spent the weekend snuggled in front of the fire, looking out at the cute ponies with beautiful hills behind them. We'll come again, and bring our bikes to hit the Remutaka Rail Trail.
It was great! The atmosphere was wonderful and we loved the view. It would be great if there was information in the book about where the glasses were as they were located in a bar outside.

Thank you for your review, the glasses are in the cupboard in the kitchen where the coffee and tea cups are kept, I'm not sure how you overlooked this?
Additional glasses are in the outside bar area but there are plenty inside too.
Beautiful rural location close to amazing experiences
Booked this lovely little property with a friend for a quiet new years. Amazing location with beautiful views and literally down the road from the Kaitoke Regional Park and a short drive to the Wairapa. The fully equipped kitchen was also perfect for home cooked meals. Beautifully maintained and clean. Thank you for the wonderful stay.
This was a very clean, cute place. There was some music and doors banging from the main property a bit but it eventually stopped.
Again, impeccably clean and nicely styled.
Thank you to our lovely host, we had a wonderful stay and had everything we needed to enjoy a night in Kaitoke. Beautiful farm views, a cosy vibe and great amenities. 10/10.
I loved the cottage and its surroundings. It was very clean, warm at night and had mostly everything we needed. Horses in the backyard are cool, and went for walks to the rimutaka cycle trail which is literally round the corner. Thanks for having us!
We had a wonderful time in this lovely cottage - peaceful surroundings, great amenities and thoughtful little extras. We loved being close to the horses and ducks too, what an idyllic spot! Thanks!

Location is directly on the cycle trail.
Location is directly on the cycle trail. Its at the end of the hardest bit. The next day was wonderful. It has a great shower, and beers and pizzas were provided, what more could I ask for. Highly recommended especially for people on the cycle trail.
We loved staying at this cottage, it had everything we needed and more. Beautiful location, lovely owners, and very relaxing. We will definitely stay again if were back in the area!
Easy to access the Cycle Trails we wanted to do. Plenty of choices for walking and cycling in the surrounding area.
Lovely views of the Remutaka Hills and surrounding countryside.
Cottage was very clean and had all the necessary facilities needed for a very comfortable stay.
After a long day of travel this little cottage was like an oasis. It is peaceful with lovely views and welcomed our little dog. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Very comfortable.
This property is immaculately maintained, and you feel a million miles away while sitting on the back porch watching the horses and seeing the clouds roll by mountaintops. The cottage is on owners property but you wouldn’t even know. They’ve made gates and courtyard and even an outdoor bar that’s in between their home and rental. They left us to it and didn’t say anything until we were driving out, the nicest man just checking everything went ok.
Spotless, serene, wonderful place. Thank you to owners who obviously take pride in their home stay. :)
Our stay here has been most enjoyable. The cottage has everything and was exactly as described. The whole experience has been perfect. Thank you, Belinda.
