Relax at the West Coast Paradise of Port Waikato

Enjoy the comforts of our home in the seaside settlement of Port Waikato. Walking distance to our famous black sand beach and also our river and the reserves with children's playgrounds. Try your luck at surfcasting if you're a fishing person. Drag your net in the bay for fresh flounder. Or walk through the expansive sand dunes. Jump off the wharf at high tide, or enjoy a dip in the ocean while the life guards are on patrol (Oct to April). Maybe drive to the Nikau Caves to explore them. Centrally located on quiet, no exit street, walking distance to most amenities in the settlement. Sit outside under the shade sail at the outdoor table and chairs or put your feet up and relax with a cold drink on the deck, the choice is yours. Shower outside under the stars if you like, shower is heated. Deck has a lockable gate at top of the outside stairs. Gated barriers at top and bottom of internal stairs can be installed for families with young children.
