Our family loved our stay in Oban. Hideaway haven is a quintessential kiwi bach. Excellent communication by the host, who also provided top notch recommendations. Important to note that the third bedroom was located downstairs through a separate entrance, which may not be ideal for some families.

Katrina was very helpful with information about the house and Stewart Island more generally. She always provided very timely answers to my questions. The house is very spacious and well outfitted, with everything we needed in the kitchen, lots of books (I was glad to have access to Hugh Wilson's plant book for Stewart Island) and DVDs (We enjoyed watching 'Hunt for the Wilderpeople' with our overseas visitors.
