Comfortable bach, better than it looks in the photos, very clean, quite relaxed bach-y feel. All the things you need. Great bird-watching area nearby at Ahuriri estuary, walking or cycling. Ahuriri shops also cool area to walk around. Lots of family friendly activities in Napier, the Faraday museum was a highlight, also visiting Otatara Pa at sunset was beautiful. We hired e-bikes and biked down the waterfront, along the port area, around the estuary, really good cycle networks all over Napier. A day at Ocean beach for some surf, a drive up Te Mata peak for amazing views, also Bluff hill in town has good Napier views. Nice cafe lunches in town and rurally. Arataki Honey was a cool place to see bees in their hives, taste honey, and learn about their busy lives. A great holiday.

You are always a pleasure to have stay, thank you for choosing bach Bobby Charlie.
Bach Boy Charlie was simply fantastic because of its incredible location, its one street down from a beach and a short 5 minute walk from a block of shops with a cafe for coffee and a decent fish and chip shop. The owner and host were friendly, yes would recommend

This was pleasant and comfortable place with plenty of room. Being an older property it had character. Well situated to the city and surrounding areas and in a quiet part of town with beach access and walks. Would recommend and would stay here again.
Lovely little kiwi batch. Excellent location- two mins walk to Westshore Beach.
Great communication with host Vayle. Was a good size for our family of five.
Always enjoy our stay here when visiting Napier.
Have become regular guests here when going to Napier. Nice cosy clean house, is well equipped and has everything you need for your little family getaway. Quiet street close to dairy, takeaway shop, Westshore playground (which has been updated) and lifeguard swimming spots. Easy check-in good communication with host Vayle.
Will definitely be back when visiting Napier
Thanks alot Vayle for our stay :)
It was lovely staying here, nice and clean, very quiet, no road noise and very close to the beach. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and everything one needs to cook. Plenty of room. Comfy lounge furniture and beds. It was great, thank you.
The location was awesome with good facilites however the outside place was abit fithy interms of unmowed grass, fallen debris and unraked compound. There was no internet service. The inside was a bit smelly due to long closure.
Very hard to get entry information about the property.Shower was pathetic , no pressure ,very little hot water.Deck is dangerous , the is deck rotten.French doors need two people to close them.

We are a active family that love to come and stay at bach boy Charlie when we can get an escape from regular life. We wanted a space to relax with friends and family. We hope you enjoy Charlie as much as we do, want to return and treat Charlie just like your own.
Why they chose this property
We love the character and history of the area, Charlie is one of the original homes built on the shingle spit of Westshore and stayed standing after the 1930's earth quake that transformed Napier. Awesome location for what ever you are into, there is something here for you.
What makes this property unique
Meet Charlie, hes a colourful character, a good old kiwi bach with location. Sheltered from the coastal breeze, still close enough to listen to the waves as you go off to sleep. Walking distance to food and fun. :-)
