Beautiful house in a beautiful setting. Was super clean and private. Some absolutely incredible walks nearby. The only thing that detracted was the deer head on the wall but that's a matter of personal preferences, everything else was fantastic.
Great instruction how to run systems eg lighting the fire, using washing machine etc. Modern, clean, knives, forks and spoons all matched (!), bed very comfortable and the fire was so warm and cosy! Kitchen worked well. Thank you for a great stay.
We were thrilled on arrival at this beautiful bach. The facilities were excellent and the property was incredibly well insulated as advertised. It was such a joy to stay here.
We absolutely loved our weekend away! So peaceful and quiet and a perfect wee house! Waking up to the birds and stargazing into the night was just bliss! We will definitely be returning!
Property was as described. A lovely quiet spot, cozy and warm with modern facilities. A great place to chill after several full-on days with the wider family.
We enjoyed a few days in Peel Forest - our second time staying at the property. It is perfect for a getaway to unwind, and so many walks suitable for all ages. Can’t wait to return.
Beautiful house and well located.
Property contained everything we needed for a very comfortable stay.
Excellent communication from owner.
Highly recommended for your next trip away when you want peace and nature!!
Great base for exploring Peel Forest Reserve.
The Modern Batch had everything one needed- great kitchen equipment with extras eg tea, coffee, sugar. Good Shower. Good beds and so quiet and peaceful.
Walking near the house with a dozen bellbirds flitting amongst the Kowhai trees and kererus flying overhead was especially beautiful. We loved staying ‘in’ the forest - house was warm and comfy, would stay again.
Great place for a family weekend. Warm, cozy and relaxing. Close to walks and bike rides. Incredibly peaceful with the only noise being the birds chirruping and singing and the fire crackling. Thank you George for being so accommodating to our needs.
