Recently renovated 1950's batch, light, and airy. An absolute treasure whether out on the deck in the sun, jumping in the sea (30m from front door), or reading comfortably on the couch on a rainy day.

kerren (kiwi), justin (irish), noah (born in guatemala) and sophie (born in italy). we are family that loves to travel, meet local people and learn local languages. the children grew up in France and now we live between the beach in NZ and the mountains in the French Alps (yes we are lucky). and we really want to share our beautiful homes with others. a shame when they are empty :)
Why they chose this property
Paekakariki is a special place not only for its extraordinary beauty and peace but for its community. Diverse, vibrant, creative, caring. We live part of the year in the landlocked Alps so coming home to the sea is very special.
What makes this property unique
The proximity to the sea is unique (only drawback is cleaning the windows from the sea spray!). Given the more recent renovations, its warm, energy efficient, and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.
