This house has it all with a beautiful fire place in the lounge with plenty of firewood stacked in firewood stands.
There is also a heat pump and wall heaters in bedrooms.
Open plan kitchen , living, dining which opens onto a deck that overlooks a beautiful reserve.
Kitchen is very modern with all the latest gadgets induction hob, microwave, oven dishwasher well equipped for all your holiday needs.
Barbecue available on request,

It comes complete with fully updated wifi connection.
Smart TV, Sky TV including Sky Sports and movies
House looks into a beautiful reserve and there is a 14ft trampoline for kids to play on.

Close to all the necessary amenities such as the New World supermarket, train station, cafes, restaurants and the Junction.

The iconic Powderhorn Chateau restaurant and Bar, Kings with its live music and all the nightlife the Junction has to offer. A 20 minute drive and you will be up the mountain at Turoa Ski Field enjoying the snow. Whakapapa Ski Field is located 45 minutes from Ohakune Township. So close to the action yet a quiet home location for a peaceful night

Ohakune is a great location for accessing all year round activities such as skiing, tramping, biking, horse riding, and fishing. There are numerous nature walks plus the famous Tongariro Crossing and trails including Biking the Old Coach Road, 42 Traverse or the Bridge to Nowhere.

We had a great time staying in this very comfortable, warm, beautifully tidy property. Great distance from Ohakune shops and cafes, Turoa ski field. Great parking and plenty of room inside even for a full house. Will be back.

We stayed in this property 2 years ago and we froze...this time we were toasty warm. Our hosts met us on arrival and even brought Duplo over for our wee girl to play with. The house was clean and well equipped. The view of the mountain was stunning when the sun came out. We definitely enjoyed our stay this time much more than last time....thank you.

a comfortable stay

We rented this property for a snowboarding weekend for 5 people. It was a newer place with plenty of space making it quite a comfortable place to be in after a day of boarding. It was very warm and quite clean. The beds were very comfortable as well. Gina and Paul were a real pleasure to deal with....kind and always got back to you right away. The sunset views from the living area looking out into the back was absolutely stunning. The only little downside was the wifi was very weak and could only be gotten at certain corners of the house (living room and kitchen) and not at all from the bedrooms. But otherwise it was very nice. Would recommend it as a place to stay.

Thank you for your positive and constructive review Anne. I have found and replaced a faulty network cable. I also added a wifi extender to give maximum coverage throughout the house. I have done a speed test in each room and it is very good now. Unfortunately fibre is not available in Ohakune yet but as soon as it is I will gladly upgrade. Kind regards Gina & Paul

Great place to stay for visiting the mountain. Very warm and a large drying room. The only downside was the wifi that was slow with a weak signal.

We had a wonderful stay in Ohakune, with our 3 and 5 year olds, despite the weather! Great having a warm base to retreat to with full facilities: kitchen, laundry, drying room. We will definitely be returning again.
