We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All of us were able to feel like we had space to relax. We had dogs that had space to play and roam. We loved the goats and chickens were a plus. This is definitely an all-around fun family rental

This place was amazing. I have a big family and this was perfect for us in terms of the amount of bedrooms and bathrooms. The outside space was great! We loved having the fire pit, we used it every night! We will definitely be booking another stay in the future

The property manager was courteous and very responsive. Property was not well appointed with kitchen cookware or tableware. Refrigerator ice machine not operable. Outside dogs barking in middle of the night woke the entire household. Ants in the kitchen reported to property manager. No real outside area because of goats

From the owner: "We’re truly sorry parts of your stay did not meet expectations, as we genuinely want every guest to feel comfortable and enjoy their time here. We’ll certainly revisit the kitchen setup, though it is stocked with a wide range of cookware, appliances, coffee options, and dining supplies for large groups. We’re also very sorry you encountered ants during your stay. While this has not been an issue before, we’ve already contacted a professional exterminator to inspect and proactively treat the property. Being out in the country, occasional distant noises, such as a dog barking, can happen, though we do bring our own dog inside each evening to help maintain a peaceful environment. While we do not currently have an ice maker, we do provide ice trays filled in the freezer for guest use. As noted in our welcome letter, we’re also always happy to have the goats penned during a guest’s stay if preferred. Thank you again for staying with us. We wish you safe travels ahead."

Happy House Stay

The house provided plenty of space for our large family with comfortable sleeping arrangements. Bathrooms were spacious and clean. One shower head needs some adjustments but was usable. Farm atmosphere was definitely enjoyed by the children in our group.

Excellent Stay and Would Recommend to Anyone

We had a large group stay at this house and loved it. There was a lot of space and room for lounging, and it felt like our private area for the weekend. We were a college group in Charlottesville for an event at UVA, and the property was just close enough to work for us. The host is great, hospitable, and a great communicator. Would recommend it.

Graduation Getaway!

We headed to Charlottesville this past weekend for our oldest’s graduation from UVA. My wife, our 2 younger children, my parents, my aunt and our pups all went. The house was perfect!! So much room, fenced in yard for the dogs to go out, the kids loved the chickens and goats! The house was clean and had everything we needed. Big thanks to Derrick! He was nearby if we needed anything and regularly checked in via text to make sure we were good. If you have a big group or need a spot that accommodates dogs this is the one. You won’t regret it.
