Guest access You are welcome to use the entire space. There is only one cabinet that is for host supplies in the house. We have a toddler, so we have plenty of toddler toys as well as food dishes etc. for kids to use during your stay.
The yard is fully fenced. You will have access to a garage door opener, only one car fits in the garage and there is a $150 charge for losing the remote during your stay. Other things to note This house is retro: there is a low voltage electrical system that takes a tad bit of getting used to, but everything is clearly labeled and easy to use.
We have a mini split system in each wing of the house for zone-specific heating and cooling needs.
We are going to be doing a full renovation of the kitchen and bathroom, as well as an addition in the very near future, but feel that the house, though retro, is fully functional and well-equipped with everything you need for a wonderful vacation!

This property is super cute, very clean, and just a few blocks from the beach and lighthouse. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. We will certainly stay here again the next time we visit Crescent City.

Thank you so much! We’re glad you enjoyed the home, comfort, and location near the beach and lighthouse. We’d love to host you again when you’re back in Crescent City!
We went to the coast with our family from Australia and it was wonderful to have space to relax together, comfortable beds to sleep in and clean shower to prepare for the the rest of our journey. There was no shortage of towels which was very nice compared to some places yhat only give you one towel per person. Womderful place and would love to stay there again!
Wonderful base for Redwoood exploration. Cool MCM house near the beach. Perfect for our family of 4 with ample space. Amy is a great host and has great local suggestions!!! Thank you Amy!

Thank you so much! We’re glad the home worked well for your family and that you enjoyed exploring the Redwoods and the beach. Really appreciate the kind words, and we’d love to host you again anytime!
Photos and listings are accurate. Excellent communication with the host. I did not try all the amenities, like the TV's the hot tub, and the kitchen stove, so I can't comment on those, but everything else was fantastic. Large comfortable and welcoming home. Very convenient and quiet neighborhood. All light switches were clearly labeled. I was very pleasantly surprised that firewood was available, but that isn't always the case according to the provided property guidebook. I would not hesitate staying here again.

We loved everything about this home. It was immaculate, cozy, well stocked with anything you might need, and what an awesome location. Town was close, we walked to the brew pub, beach, and lighthouse. And it was just a short drive to the Redwoods.

Thank you for your kind review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the home and the location. We’d love to host you again!
We had an incredible time at this property. Walking distance to the beach to watch the sunset. A day spot to spend the day on the beach is a short drive away, as are the Redwoods and plenty of hikes in Jedediah State Park. The hosts have included a binder that has some great suggestions and ideas, as well as info regarding the house. They do not want pets on furniture - however, supply you with PLENTY of blankets to cover furniture and beds for a spoiled pooch like ours who is quite used to sitting on the couch. It has a lovely fenced yard that our dog loved, and we had lots of options for dog walks. We also appreciated the funky layout that allowed for the bedrooms to be separate from the living room. We loved everything about this house, and plan to return!
