About this property
Banjos Cabin Gippsland | Valley Views · Luxury Eco Escape | Pond Valley Views Fi
Escape to Banjos Cabin Gippsland – Luxury Hamptons-style eco-retreat set amidst scenic rolling hills with a beautiful pond view.
Wake to crisp winter mornings at your brekkie bar. Wander misty bush trails or explore nearby historic towns. Indulge in Tinamba's fine dining, sample local wines or unwind at friendly country pubs.
Return for a drink and a cosy evening of movies or board games. Spot kangaroos and watch animals graze at dusk, as festive lights twinkle by the pond beneath the stars.
Property:
Step into this inviting space, where soaring raked ceilings with exposed rafters and French doors lead you into a bright, airy interior.
You’ll have everything you might need for a cosy and rejuvenating stay — including optional use of the indoor fireplace for an added touch of warmth and ambience ($25 additional fee for setup / kindling / firewood / fire starters).
Your comfort is assured with a relaxing ceiling fan and split system (heating/cooling), while a 55” TCL Smart TV keeps you entertained after busy adventurous days.
In the kitchenette, enjoy stylish SMEG appliances (kettle and large toaster), an electric cooktop, bar fridge, microwave, slow cooker, coffee pod machine and a convenient ceramic water filter.
When it’s time to relax, sink into the luxe king-size bed, dressed in premium linens. We’ve supplied pure cotton waffle bath robes, towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and complimentary slippers, along with goat milk soap, tea, coffee, cereal, pancake mix, bottled water (still and sparkling), biscuits, and more!
Outside, our emerging food forest boasts over 30 varieties of young fruit trees, while a nearby dam, native pollinator raised beds and miniature Babydoll sheep offer a whimsical touch.
At dusk, spot kangaroos grazing in the distance against breathtaking views that sweep from high country mountains through the valley to the nearby state forest.
Whether you seek rustic tranquillity, modern comforts, or a moment of natural wonder, our retreat promises a restful and memorable escape in Central Gippsland.
Guest Access:
Enjoy full access to our entire 8.5-acre working Greenstead, where you can roam freely and soak up the tranquil surroundings.
While there are a few homes in the area and we generally stay on-site to maintain the property, you'll have your own dedicated car park beside the cabin.
Self check-in via lockbox makes for an easy arrival and a relaxed, comfortable experience.
Interaction with guests:
We’re committed to creating a unique and memorable stay, while always respecting your privacy. With a passion for thoughtful, experiential retreats, we take pride in offering a peaceful base from which to explore this beautiful region. If you'd like to help feed our friendly pet sheep or snap a few photos, don’t hesitate to reach out — we’d love to share the moment with you.
Other Details to Note:
Please note that we can only welcome guests over the age of 21 years as there is an unfenced dam on site (along with other risk factors).
If you’d like to use the indoor fireplace during your stay, please let us know when booking. An additional $25 fee applies, which includes fire preparation, kindling, firewood, and fire starters.
For safety reasons, only firewood supplied by us may be used. Use of the fireplace or any self-supplied firewood without prior arrangement is not permitted, as a past incident prompted this policy. Thank you for your understanding and helping us keep the space safe and cosy.
