About this property
Luxurious cabin designed to capture the breath-taking mountain views.
Hilltop Haven is a luxurious cabin nestled in the hills of a working cattle farm, offering a retreat for those looking for a peaceful time away. We invite you to fully immerse in nature, whilst enjoying luxuries that make for a comfortable, indulgent stay. Wind down in the double baths, cosy up by the outdoor fire & rest upon the king sized bed.
Located in the Lost World Valley, Scenic Rim, an 1hr30min drive from Brisbane & the Gold Coast.
In the living area, full-sized windows allow you to take in the expansive views of the rugged mountain ranges from the comfort of the cosy couch.
You'll find a fully equipped kitchen stocked with considered basics, including coffee pods, eggs and butter. All the essential appliances including a stove, oven and toaster are further available to use to craft scrumptious meals. Some indulgent luxuries will also be available within the complimentary welcome hamper.
Meals can be enjoyed either from the comfort of the indoor kitchen bench chairs or upon the spacious outdoor deck.
The calming bedroom is fitted with a king size bed positioned to allow you to watch the sunrise without needing to move a muscle. There is a selection of books and board games in a box under the bed to help you unwind.
The bathroom features simple amenities to ensure a comfortable stay including that of a toilet, sink and rain shower.
Upon the spacious deck, guest are invited to make use of the gas barbecue to create nourishing meals, take in the expansive view by relaxing within the vintage cast iron baths, indulge in some nibbles at the comfortable seating area or rewind with a novel in hand upon the sun bed.
A fire pit is further available in order for you and your special someone to gaze upon the stars as you roast some marshmallows upon the fire.
Thanks to the location of the cabin we seem to be blessed with a breeze most days, however there is air-conditioning for when this doesn't suffice.
To ensure that you are able to fully unwind and switch off from the world beyond we have decided not to include a TV within the cabin. You are welcome to bring your own devices if you wish however, it is important to note that Telstra is the only network that will work in the area.
The cabin is accessible via a steep gravel driveway ~250m from the entrance on Kerry Rd. Low-clearance cars may struggle to get up the driveway, particularly in wet conditions. As we are a working farm we have fenced-in the cabin to stop the cattle from venturing too close to the building, however guests are welcome to venture down to the creek for a swim or up to the look out for a sunset picnic at their own leisure. We ask that you close the gates behind you. You can find more information on this in the guest book.
