I had an amazing week at the Luxury Retreat. The host was helpful and communicative, and had great tips for enjoying the house and the area, including hiking recommendations. I've stayed in several places all around the high peaks area and this one was truly special. I could sit in that hot tub with a mountain view forever. The house was very clean and beautiful, with lots of comfortable touches. I loved the layout of the screened porch and wrap-around deck leading to the fenced backyard. It was such a piece of mind that my dog could enjoy the yard and be safe. She also loved lying in the porch enjoying the cool fall air. I loved sitting in the comfy living room chair and ottoman in the mornings with the gas fireplace/stove on and drinking coffee. The setting is very private and the right amount of remote, but still close enough to drive to restaurants and stores as needed. It definitely hit the right note for the trip I was looking for with being a luxurious quiet retreat. The private trails in the neighborhood were a bonus, and I made several trips to hike all around the area, as well as visit my favorite places in Keene, Lake Placid, and Wilmington. I would be more than happy to stay again!

An Adirondack Gem!
Our family just returned from a week-long stay at this incredible home, and we are already wishing we could go back! Finding a property that is truly secluded and peaceful, while still offering top-tier, modern amenities, can be a challenge—but this place absolutely nailed it.
Why we loved our stay:
Modern, Clean, & Super Comfortable: The moment we walked through the door, we were struck by how spotless and beautifully designed the interior is. It has a modern aesthetic but still feels incredibly cozy and welcoming.
Dog-Friendly Perfection: Traveling with our dogs can sometimes be stressful, but the fully fenced backyard was a complete game-changer. We had total peace of mind letting them stretch their legs.
The Ultimate Relaxation: After a day of exploring, there was nothing better than soaking in the private hot tub, surrounded by the quiet beauty of the woods. It is pure bliss.
The Ultimate Kid/Teen Hangout: The basement setup is genius! It is the perfect, self-contained space for teenagers or families with younger children to have their own zone to play, watch movies, and hang out without interrupting the quiet spaces upstairs.
If you are looking for a pristine, secluded escape in the Adirondacks that doesn't compromise on luxury or comfort, this is it. The hosts have thought of absolutely everything. We cannot recommend this property highly enough!
My wife and I visited Adirondack View Lodge for a long-weekend getaway with our seven children, ranging in age from 8 to 22. The house was set in a mostly wooded setting, with a large fenced-in area that was convenient for our dogs. There is a wonderful view of the mountains from the deck, and while there are neighbors fairly close by, the trees helped give a sense of privacy. The screened porch was perfect for a morning cup of coffee while listening to the birds. It should be noted that the house is situated on a dirt road, so in snowy or wet weather might be muddy and difficult for some vehicles. The house was terrific, the sofa bed and foam mattress meant that only 2 of the younger kids had to share one of the queen beds, while everyone else got beds of their own, which were on the firm side, but quite comfortable.Overall, the house was very clean and the kitchen was well-equipped for our needs. Everyone enjoyed the air-hockey table, and we appreciated having options for seating areas. We used the large dining room table for puzzles and games, and enjoyed the large-screen TV in the basement for movie-watching. We also had fun with the basketball hoop in the driveway, and were thankful for the functional laundry room.We really had a wonderful few days here and found it ideal for spreading out and relaxing.
