We were greeted and welcomed, we had requested an early check-in and we were able to get it. Mel & Nikki were very gracious and welcoming. The entire stay was great! Very nice to have separate spaces yet still be together. We definitely recommend. The Rolens Vacation team are quick to respond and very accommodating too. The trip went by quick as they always seem to however we enjoyed every bit of it!

Christmas 2021

We were two families with 13 all together spending Christmas week on FMB. It was the perfect home for our large group. We found the home exactly as described in the description and very clean. Our favorite place in the home was the pool and hot tub used every day and a few evenings too!

Spring Break

We had three families vacationing together. Perfect sunny weather. Stunning house! We arrived to broken A/C and a cloudy pool in need of a new filter. These situations were fixed during our stay but especially the pool was a bummer for the price $ we paid. The house decor is gorgeous, and the 3rd floor open floor plan and sliders that fully open out to balcony are a show-stopper!!

Beautiful home great location

The home is beautiful and in a great location near downtown. Unfortunately, we were contacted on the day of checkin that there was an issue with the oven so we did not have a Christmas dinner. Management company tried to accommodate us with two airfryers and a roaster but it did not replace the need for the oven. Multiple times the repair was scheduled just for me to call and ask when the repair person was coming as they missed the appointment. Finally decided we were just better off without the oven at that point.Make no mistake, for a large family this home is perfect. Most communication with property management was good.Would we stay here again? Yes in a heartbeat

Lovely property

This house was wonderful. It is very spacious with accommodations for all! Ping-pong, pool, and swimming pool provides lots of entertainment. The location for the beach was excellent and all of the chairs and wagons supplied was very convenient! Also loved all the space for parking and ability to walk to restaurants, etc. The elevator was an added bonus for people in our group who had trouble with all the stairs.

Property is perfect

There were 11people in our group, 8 adults and 3 kids. The bedrooms and common areas were very comfortable. The pool and spa plus pool table and ping pong table was a big plus. A quick walk to the beach and to the bike rental place, we were able to bike to Publix and to get a meal at a cute little cafe.

Spring break

This was our second stay at Summer Wind. It did not disappoint. The house is amazing. It’s perfect for a crowd. It has lots of options for entertaining and fun, but also ample options for sneaking away for peace and quiet. The location can’t be beat. Hoping to return for a third time.

The location, the house was just the best. Walking distance to downtown and steps away from the beach. The house was beautiful, clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Highly recommend.

Best Ever!

Our group of five siblings, their spouses and our almost 89-year-old Dad stayed at Summer Wind for two weeks. We loved every minute of our time in this beautiful, BIG, well-designed, and tastefully decorated home. Every day we opened the huge sliding doors on the top (living) level and enjoyed the breathtaking views and temperate breezes from the huge third floor deck. We enjoyed every inch of the property ... swam in the warm pool and hot tub every day, fished on dock, docked our rental pontoon there during high tide, played ping pong and pool in the game room, LOVED cooking in the well-appointed kitchen and visiting around the tables and huge center island, had movie and popcorn nights in front of the big TV, and played games and did puzzles together in the living spaces throughout the house. We enjoyed daytrips to the Edison and Ford Winter Estates, Six Mile Cypress Slough and daily walks on the beach and to local businesses. The location of this property is perfect walking distance to shops, restaurants, bars, bike rental and the farmers market. Five of our party rented bikes from just around the block and rode on the beach and along Estero to Lover's Key for drinks and apps. The garage was full of chairs, umbrellas, water toys and a couple of wagons for our beach days. The elevator was SO appreciated for moving our people, groceries and luggage up to the kitchen and sleeping rooms. Summer Wind is overall the best accommodation we've stayed in, and the Luxury Vacation Rental people were wonderful to work with. When I called to ask about pool heat, it was handled immediately from a remote location. Nice! Thank you, Summer Wind owners and hosts for providing the perfect place for our family to relax and celebrate together. We hope to return some day!

Wonderful home.

The house is a bit spread out with the kitchen on the 3rd floor, but it was just stunning! Lots of dishes, sand and beach toys/chairs, and even thing to entertain kids. We had some small issues with the pool and elevator and the management was extremely prompt and responsive. They could use some blinds for the morning sun but other than that, it was an amazing house and a great vacation!

Family Fun!

We stayed in the Summer Wind home for a week of family fun! The house is BEAUTIFUL and well equipped. The pool area was perfect for our daily soak-up-the-sun relaxation (The pool table and ping pong table were great on the rainy day!), while the living space and kitchen provided us plenty of room to make dinner and enjoy each other's company in the evenings. The bedrooms and bathrooms, along with living room and kitchen, were just as pictured in the listing and met our expectations. The elevator was a great help. All in all, we would highly recommend the Summer Wind vacation rental!

51st anniversary celebration

The house was great. We are a family of 15 the house was large enough every one had plenty room. The house is beautiful and everything we might have needed from kitchen to beach was furnished. Beautiful house

Our family of 6 couples, ages 22-75, had a wonderful time at this house. The pool and outdoor area proved a great gathering place and enable "work at home" people to use the pool during breaks and lunch. Only a block & half from the beach. The house is beautiful with many amenities. Best is the kitchen and decks; Thankfully plenty of deck furniture. Bedrooms are nice and those with ensuite bathrooms are the best. We use VRBO for most of our beach travel. I choose those with the best furniture and of course the need for plenty of bathrooms. This is the best house we have rented so far.

Summer wind home

This was our second time staying at Summer wind. The property is beyond beautiful and the location couldn’t be any better. Lots of activities and great restaurants within walking distance. The kids really enjoyed renting bicycles and venturing out in the area. Beautiful to be on the water. Very peaceful although tucked inside a busy area, never noisy. Will definitely return!

Smiles all around

With Adults and kids from three separate families we all had great community space and private space alike. The pool and upper deck was especially a great gathering place. One of our favorite features of the house was the fully expansive sliding glass doors to open up the kitchen to the upper deck. WOW!! Also a very short walk (1 1/2 blocks to the beach. The house had tons of equipment from chairs/umbrellas/coolers/beach towels to sand castle and games for both beach and pool. For those who need to stay connected, FAST internet. Thank you!
