Beautiful property located in a picturesque setting. Randy's place was close enough to town that we still felt it was a relatively close drive while still being immersed in nature. Randy was very helpful throughout our stay and even let us know when there were whales in the harbour so that we had the opportunity to see them.

Beautiful!

We had a great stay at the property! It was clean, beautiful, and perfect for our family weekend away. The hot tub and sauna were so nice! We loved the location and the quick walk to the water. I would love to come back and stay again.

Great staycation!

This property is unique and well equipped. We really liked all the art and woodwork. We also enjoyed the sauna and hot tub. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway!

This was an amazing property somehow cozy, but with plenty of space. We stayed with our two daughters and everyone had plenty of room We were surrounded inside by inspirational paintings, sculpture and other artwork and outside Mother Nature at her best with a picturesque view from the house and porch areas. The location was ideal located just 20 min from numerous hikes and just 30 min from Halifax. Our host made a bevy of recommendations on local attractions that greatly enhanced our vacation experience. The hot tub and sauna were in great condition and enjoyed relaxing in them after various hikes and day trips. Highly recommended.

Neighborhood quiet. House was dusty. House didn’t seem to be quite finished. Hot tub and sauna was good. One bed upstairs uncomfortable. 2 other beds good. Overall a good spot. People who stayed before us didn’t use garbage bags. There garbage was still there when we arrived. We got rid of it.

Not sure this review is fair. This is the first non 5 star review we have had. We understand with the number of people who rent we can never 100% satisfy everyone. The house is finished, all the beds/matresses were newly purchased in February. I am not sure about garbage? in the utility room we have bags of recycled goods and cardboard stored for weekly pick up, but that is in the utility room behind a closed door. At any rate ...thanks for staying.

Quick Weekend Getaway

We stayed in the Gallery House this past weekend for two nights and had a fantastic visit. Close enough to the city that bad weather would not have stopped us from getting there, far enough away from the city that it was very quiet and we could hear the ocean waves on the rocks and see all the beautiful stars. The host was very helpful after the booking letting us know what items were in the kitchen and about the check in process. The host met me there once I arrived to explain the use of the sauna and hot tub and fireplace. He also had a beautiful fire lit already. Being a football fan the TV had quite a number of the sports channels, as well as other movie channels and I could log into my own streaming services as well. The property it's self was very easy to find, lots of parking and self contained. Inside the fully equipped kitchen was great and wonderful to prepare full meals in. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well appointed and clean / comfy. There were lots of towels, warm blankets and extra pillows throughout the rental. There were no issues with the use of the hot tub and sauna as we used them both nights. Lots of walking trails close by that could be used but it was quite a cold weekend so we mainly stayed inside. We would definitely stay again and recommend to any friends or family.
