Lovely private accommodation in the trees and such a beautiful drive out of Auckland. Comfortable Whare with everything you need for a quick get away. You can sit on the private deck and in total privacy enjoy the bird song

Super quiet all the bells n whistles you need in a bach and more. Host was very accommodating and even offered kayaks for our children. Was a pleasant stay overall specially for our kids as they love the beach and the bush so I t was perfect
We had a lovely stay out in the bush, in the picturesque Huia Bay. The accommodation was perfect for our needs and exactly as pictured with amenities like a hair dryer, and a microwave that aren’t visible in the original photos.Chanae and her husband were super helpful and welcoming - they provided extra citronella candles and a few different dishes for the kitchen based on my cooking plans. The cabin is set back from the road and from the main house with beautiful foliage all round, a lovely covered deck and a short walk down to the beach. The wifi was perfect for working remotely during our stay as well, even for two software developers. The heat pump cools the place down very quickly although on all but the hottest days you’ll likely find that opening the windows gets a lovely cross breeze that gets the job done just fine.Overall a lovely visit and I’m sure we’d love to stay again some time in the future :)
Awesome communication with the host Chanae, they made sure we had everything we needed for an easy comfortable stay. We enjoyed waking up to the Manu and the misty green hills views. Hikoi at the beach, playing/ eating our meals amongst the fresh quiet ngahere filled with rongoā rakau. Cute visits from their kuri, reo Māori games, nice warm and cozy unit. Highly recommend ! This little studio is perfect for staying in the Auckland region without being in the city itself.Nestled just a short distance up the driveway from the main road, the home feels like a secluded retreat in the bush without requiring a long trek into the ranges. If you’re looking for solitude with easy access, this spot is ideal. The owner had the space ready for us and was very communicative. The studio was clean, comfortable, and well-suited for two people. The air conditioning was a welcome feature during the Auckland summer, and the washing machine was a great convenience. We enjoyed being able to walk to a nearby bush trail and explore the area on foot. The kitchen includes a stovetop, which we used for cooking dinner and breakfast. However, there is no microwave, so plan meals accordingly. We managed just fine with what was available.Overall, we had a great stay and would absolutely return!
