Gorgeous pet friendly home within minutes from Tahoe City! Ideal location close to bike paths to downtown or down the West Shore. Large 4 bedroom that will suite the entire group! Upgraded furnishings throughout and a HOT TUB to enjoy all year long!

Enjoy this large home which features plenty of space for the entire family/friends to spread out and also large spaces to enjoy together! The updated kitchen is stocked with every item you could ever need for preparing your meals. The living room features a cozy gas fireplace to stay warm by all year long. A second game room is located upstairs for another group or for the kids to gather in. Peace and quiet is available just out the back door with a wrap around deck, ample seating, and hot tub for all.

Downtown Tahoe City with an abundance of great restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, etc. Take a stroll down the river path (bike and stroller friendly) with miles of comfortable walking or biking alongside the Truckee River, and past Lake Tahoe. Commons beach in downtown Tahoe City has a large playground great for kids, grassy lawn, and beach area for relaxing and taking in the sights of the lake and surrounding mountains. Miles of easily accessible paved bike/hiking trails minutes from your front door. Up for some adventure, try the river rafting down the Truckee River. In the Winter months, the closest ski resorts include Granlibakken Resort, Homewood Mountain, Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, and Northstar. Cross country skiing is closeby and rentals are available at Tahoe Cross Country Ski Area. Please visit our website and follow our “Tahoe Guide” with updated things to do in your specific area.

Parking:
Parking is available for 4 cars at the home. 2 cars in the garage and 2 cars in the driveway. All cars must park on the driveway. No street parking per county ordinance.

Other things to Note:
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Due to the temperate climate, like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There are plenty of fans available in the event that we have an unusual hot spell.
*Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.
* Dog Friendly: Maximum number of dogs allowed is 2, additional fees apply per dog.

*Renters must be 25+
*Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 8 adults

Cedar Retreat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the house and accommodations were great. also the service was excellent. I would suggest having a laminated card in the kitchensaying there is recycling - we just noticed the information in the notebookwhen it was too late, (ie blue bag verses white trash bag)

Beautiful Home and Property!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, I loved this beautiful house and its location. The amenities, including a hot tub, were great!One thing that bugged me was that the front deck rails were broken, and it was closed off by mesh. This should have been repaired prior to our arrival.

This house was beautiful inside with great amenities. The backyard patios, furniture, and hot tub were great. The lot itself was large and beautiful. What I did not like about the property is that some of the front deck rails had rotted and were broken, so the deck was closed off with mesh with signs advising us not to lean on the rails. My feeling is that this was a relatively simple, but costly repair. I had grandkids, so we could not use the front decks. I would not consider this place as being walkable to Tahoe City, unless you are in good shape. It’s about 1.5 miles to downtown. Fix the deck railings, and I have no complaints. Again, this is a beautiful home on a beautiful lot.
