Stayed 5 nights and although the weather didn’t allow us the full Ontario Lake Life experience, the cottage was great. Great location, less than 400m to the Tay trail which is great for hiking walking, biking and running. Only 2.5Km walk on the trail and you are right downtown Victoria Harbour.
A great weekend away to visit friends in the area. Cottage was newer with a great deck. On the smaller side but good for a couple. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues or small children. There is a spiral staircase to the lower level dining table and futon sofa. The weather was great for late September so we were able to eat outside on the deck. Host was easy to reach and responded with questions.
This charming cottage provided the ideal setting to celebrate our anniversary—relaxing and peaceful. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. The host (Nicole) was lovely, kind, and personable. We spent three nights, and the weather was perfect, allowing us to make use of the canoe to explore the beautiful inlet. The water was very warm, so we were glad that we brought our inflatable rafts. We spent one afternoon floating around near the end of the dock. There are many amenities nearby, providing a nice blend of cottage life and modern conveniences. I highly recommend checking out the Boathouse Eatery in Midland. The waterfront patio is massive! We went for dinner on Saturday night, and the live band was fabulous, as was their food and drinks.Overall, we had a great time and left feeling rejuvenated and inspired. We look forward to our next visit!
