About this property
The Lookout Sunny St Kilda Contemporary
This sundrenched top floor apartment is delightfully bright and airy. Calming decor is accented with vivid photographic art. Unwind on the window seat in the peaceful dining nook or on the balcony overlooking the neighbourhood. Recently renovated, the air conditioning, plush four-seater chaise lounge and broad stone kitchen makes this living space effortless. Guests are well centred to see the buzzing suburb of St Kilda. Picnic at Albert Park or wine and dine by the seaside in just five-minutes.
High, double-glazed windows flood light into the spacious living-dining area, with optional roller blinds to dim the room for cosy Netflix days on the wide HDTV. Feel snug on the chaise lounge with soft pillows, throw blankets or air conditioning to temper the room for year-round comfort. Enjoy dining at home on the sunlit table, or overlooking the skyline on the balcony's breakfast bar. Cooking is made easy, as the kitchen features generous bench space with two sinks, ample cabinetry, induction stove, large fridge, and a dishwasher. Try Melbourne’s famously delicious lattes or make them at home on the espresso machine.
Spread out on the king-size bed in luxe linen in the first bedroom, while the second bedroom features a queen bed; both come with double windows, soft carpet, block-out blinds, inbuilt wardrobes and ceiling fans. There's also a porta cot for babies in the wardrobe, and guests would need to provide there own linen. Stress melts away in the elegant bathroom with a mix of stone and tiling against timber cabinetry, a deep sink, and a tall shower with an additional handheld head. A washing machine is available for your convenience.
In the heart of the city, the free secure garage space removes any stress from your trip. If you're travelling by tram, Fitzroy street trams are an easy four-minute walk from your door that will take you to the beach or straight to the bustling CBD.
There is no lift in the building, there are stairs guests must use to reach the apartment.
During your stay, you and your group will have the entire space to yourself. Please make yourself at home!
St Kilda boasts a buzzing art scene, gorgeous coast line and sublime food. For a dose of creativity, support local artists at the markets lining the Esplanade, book a live show at the Palais Theatre or align your stay with the St Kilda Festival. If you're here for the foodie scene, the area is packed with acclaimed eateries. Stroll Acland Street sampling the lineup of patisseries. The watermelon cake from Black Star Pastry is a must. Indulge in a seafood platter overlooking the coastline at the renowned Stokehouse. For a day of play, historic Luna Park has been entertaining for over 100 years. For slower days, the suburb offers some stunning picnic spots such as Albert Park, Botanic Gardens or Catani Gardens by the beach. Enjoy all this in under 10 minutes drive from your door.
Due to local regulations, we can happily host you for up to 90 nights. Any bookings that exceed this duration will be cancelled by Vrbo.
