The unit was clean and had all the amenities for a pleasant stay. It was convenient to shopping and the local sights and restaurants. We had a very nice 2-day stay.
This relatively new apartment looked lovely and was only a few mins drive from the heart of Wanaka. It was equipped with all of the things we needed to stay for a few days. It was convenient having a bathroom with toilet upstairs and a separate toilet downstairs as well. The beds were firm but comfortable.The property backs onto a very busy main road right at the pedestrian crossing/speed bump. This meant that there was traffic noise all day and night with so many trucks/trailers banging their equipment as they launched over the speed bump.The lounge area was great but very small. Would be tricky for 4 adults (or teenagers) to sit together to watch a movie together or relax however there is not really any more room in the space to fit another piece of furniture,The entry into the apartment is electronic code locked and we had issues with this lock not working (which meant that we couldn't lock the door to leave) which meant that we missed out on a tour that we had booked. The property owners ended getting a locksmith organised however it was tricky to contact them directly as we only had the message system through the website and no contact phone number. This meant that the delays in communication made it frustrating to get a speedy resolution (the hosts were proactive when notified, just took time to get it all done through messages).
