1980"s modernized home, large backyard, great indoor outdoor living.

There is plenty of room for parking and a large secure outdoor grassed area with patio furniture.

A beautiful scenic 20 minute walk along the waterfront to the town centre. This house is also close to walking and biking tracks of Sticky Forest, some of the best riding in the area.
Plenty of room in the lockable garage to store all of your bikes safely, and room to clean them in the rear yard.

Lake Wanaka is a great central location during both the winter and summer seasons for all recreational activities including skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, boating and exploring the lakes and rivers in the area. Wanaka is also host to many tourist attractions including scenic flights, Mt Aspiring National Park and access to the Clutha River.

Summer visit

We visited the property during the summer. The house is in a quiet residential location a short drive but a long walk to town. It was hot and there was only one fan for the entire house which meant it was uncomfortable. We only used the two downstairs bedrooms which are smaller and share a common wall. The upstairs bedrooms which are larger would have been too hot!!! The kitchen had broken tiles and dirty grout by the sink. We were surprised since we have used other vacation home rentals before and this place was “tired”. On a positive note the yard behind the house was large and private.

Very clean, cozy and well equipped. It might sound simple, but the entry area where everyone (kids!) can take off their outdoor gear was great.

Winter in Wanaka

The kitchen was an absolute delight to cook in, and did not feel like a holiday house kitchen. We were two families of four, and young kids, so the big back yard was a hit. The house is warm and spacious, enough room for everybody to spread out. Thanks to our lovely hosts, allowing us to stay there, and prompt communication when we did have questions.

Stay for Motatapu event

Great house - had everything we needed, plenty of space and fabulous outside area including fully fenced part for our little dog. Lots of off-road parking and space for the bikes. Would stay again.

Enjoyable short stay

Nice and clean property 3km outside Wanaka. Perfect for a group of friends or a family. However, for a larger group of people, please note, there is only one bathroom but a second restroom.

Great space and location, clean and well equipped

Debbie was easy to communicate with. We had no issue during our stay. The backyard was a nice space to play games adults and kids alike. The garage is separate but safe and great for leaving the bikes and gears safely outside the house. It was everything we were looking for. We will book again! Looking forward to our next stay.

Plenty of space in a quiet location

We spent two nights here. The kitchen was very well appointed and we enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the view of the mountains. The only downside was that the upstairs rooms were extremely hot and those sleeping upstairs struggled to sleep because of that. This probably wouldn't usually be a problem but it was 32 degrees when we stayed.

Fabulous Stay

This property was just lovely. Very clean and tidy and the owner was great with her communication, as well as very helpful. It was so good to be able to bring our small dog with us, and there was plenty of backyard space for him to roam. We would definitely recommend this property to others.
