Birchwood #10 has been fully remodeled from floor to ceiling, adding modern amenities and comforts to the cabin’s original cozy charm. Now with all new flooring, windows, furniture, and appliances, you’ll find all of the comforts of home during your Northwoods vacation! Cabin #10 is uniquely perched above the lakefront, creating the illusion that you’re on top of the water while enjoying the view from your very own cabin.

Cabin #10 is one story with 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. The cabin welcomes you to an open-concept living room, dining room, and kitchen, bathing in natural light from the bay windows that expand the entire lakeside of the cabin. The kitchen is a welcome nod to modern luxuries with granite countertops, new appliances, and all the amenities of home to cook and entertain on your lakefront vacation. Cozy up around the gas fireplace while watching the lakefront right outside your cabin’s door.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the private deck overlooking the water or fish right from the private dock just steps down from your cabin’s front door. Cook up some smores over the firepit while basking underneath the starry Northwoods nights.

Birchwood Resort has been upgraded and reimagined to showcase the rustic style of the Northwoods and the natural beauty of the resort's ¼ mile of frontage on Little Saint Germain Lake. A private, sandy beach is at the center of the resort, providing a safe and memorable space to swim and splash in the water. Kayaks, canoes, and peddle boats are available for guest use, perfect for exploring the island just offshore.

Little Saint Germain Lake is a 972-acre lake with several bays to explore and enjoy. Known for great fishing and boating, anglers find musky, panfish, bass, pike, and walleye. Winter adventures are even more fun with over 500+ miles of snowmobile trail throughout Vilas county.

Nice weekend getaway

The property is nice. I liked that there were kayaks and a canoe available for our use. Also a private dock. Sandy beach with chairs was nice as well.

The fall colors were just beginning when we arrived but still a beautiful time of year. The cabin was very comfortable for the two of us and the view from the cabin was beautiful. We would definitely like to stay here again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It takes big Brass Cahones to charge $3800.00 for this so called cabin! There is not near enough space to really describe this property or experience so lets just say NEVER AGAIN

Cute cabin

Overall was a nice first stay in St. Germain. I would say when the listing says, “Enjoy your morning coffee on the private deck overlooking the water…” that I pictured what cabin 3 appears to have facing the water but it does have a private deck out the front door and a couple chairs on the landing between 10 and 11 to get down to the docks. Would recommend to turn the stove fan on to cook anything as even boiling water set off the fire alarm. Would also recommend bringing indoor slides as you will track in sand even if not going to the beach or dock area.Not sure if there is a way to attract or keep the swarms of mosquitoes and little bugs away from the front door but worst experience of the trip was one night we couldn’t get out the door without letting in a literal swarm even without lights on. Other notes:Pros:View (yes, there will be bugs and spiders on the window) Working appliances Kitchen tools and cabinet spaceSturdy furniture Clothes hanging option even w/out closetsParkingAllows dogs (had no issues)Private fire pit w/chairs (bring towel to wipe off)Private dockComfy chairEasy working fireplaceSleek look in remodelCons:Couch (springs seemed worn or broken)Living space (couldn’t imagine trying to have 4 grown adults in this space for long periods)No washer/dryer (not advertised to have though)When site was full, internet went spottyOnly tv in main roomLists books and indoor games but only saw some magazines and deck of cards

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I've been debating writing this. Our trip started with showing up at 3:30. Went into the rental and it was filthy had not been cleaned at all from the last guests. Noone was there cleaning. I called management and was told well it's 3:30 and check in is not till 4. Ok but there's no way it's going to be cleaned in 30 mins. Turned out to be scheduling issue and no one had shown up to clean. On top of that our fishing boat was no where to be seen. We came back from lunch and it looked like they were done cleaning. And as we figured it was rushed cleaning. The place was still pretty filthy. The bathroom was pretty foul. Kitchen was not even really wiped down. It was very discouraging consider what we had paid for it. The boat issue they let us use a pontoon boat for the night. Never heard back from management. No one every checked on us. The pontoon boat sat at our pier all week. We were not sure if we could use it or not. So we didn't. The windows at the property were unbelievably dirty. They had an amazing views but at the bug's and everything on the windows took away from that. We enjoyed or fishing boat very much and we made the best of our trip. The customer service was just not there. This place could be amazing but they have some work to do.

The view of the lake was beautiful but the windows were full of dead bugs. It would have been really nice if the windows were cleaned before we arrived. Plus, we had no internet service the whole time we were there.

Cute Cabin

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked last minute and liked the cute cabin. However, there were a few concerns: The front windows facing the lake do not open, thus no breeze comes in to the cabin, making it a bit claustrophobic. This is a deal breaker for the future. The view is amazing, but if you can't hear the water or feel the breeze, it defeats the purpose of being on a lake up north. It would have been nice to have known about the windows in advance, as the price was quite expensive. It appeared that perhaps the cabin was still under construction - there were exposed electrical lines going into the structure, the campfire pit was haphazardly set up on the property and the landscaping was in disarray. FYI, the smoke alarm went off when we heated the oven to cook, so we elected not to use the oven. Little St. Germain Lake is a lovely lake and the cabin is adorable and was clean, however VERY small and more conducive for two people rather than four. We wouldn't rent this particular property again because of the window situation. Booking staff were wonderful.
