We booked this property one year in advance. 6 weeks before our travel date we received a call that there had been a flood and they were no longer able to accommodate us. In reality, they wanted to put our week on another platform at an increase. We verified this.

I was told 24 hours before our check in that our reservation was cancelled. I get that there was flooding, but you likely knew this before one day before we checked in. I had flown in just for this week and had no where else to stay of this calibre.

Great Vacation. Everything was as listed and then some. Very clean cottage. Was stocked with all we needed. Hot tub was fantastic in the winter. My only caution to others is the driveway in winter. Park across the top. I had a 4WLD vehicle and could not get out after the snow melted to ICE. Not a negative on the rental...Nature happens. Just be prepared next time. All in all a fantastic trip we will be coming back.
