Overall amazing stay. Amazing host . Stair to the beach though were a little sketchy but we were then able to use the neighbours stair who are very friendly and nice people.
Property was amazing for kids and our dog. So much space, all the amenities you could ever need, great beach and fantastic weather to boot! The owners were very responsive and provided an all around great experience.
A great property with wonderful outdoor spaces. Lots of outdoor toys provided too. The large fenced-in yard was a bonus. The cottage had everything we needed also. The hosts were extremely responsive to any and all questions.
Great property for a cottage weekend. Had everything we needed. Stairs to the water were tricky especially with little kids, would have been nicer to have easier access to the water with them. Wonderful communication with the hosts and they did everything to make our stay great!
We had a beautiful stay on the shore of Lake Erie. The cottage had everything we needed, including Cornhole, which was played often! Lori and Craig were excellent with communication prior to check-in, and reached out during the week to ensure all was going well. Our dog had a blast fetching sticks in the lake! Highly recommend this cottage!
The home is beautiful and comfortable. I forgot how much I missed the sound of the water! Lori provided this surprise gift of assorted facial products, made it feel even more indulgent!
My daughters invited my friend from the Netherlands and me to spend a long weekend at your Lake House in Wheatley: it was a wonderful experience starting the day we arrived, the house was spacious, clean and had everything one could think of. Even our dog felt at home right away, chasing sea gulls on the beach and relaxing in the fenced yard. There were lots of beautiful parks to explore nearby and things to do. We loved the property views and the location at Lake Erie, sunrises over the lake and sunsets over authentic farmers field to falling asleep listening to waves roll in. And magically we were also treated to double rainbows after a rainstorm . We will certainly recommend it to others. Thank you for sharing and allwoing us to make beautiful memories at your Lake House!

We are so glad that you enjoyed your visit, we were happy to have you and would love that you come again anytime!
The place was great. Clean, tons of yard space, and a lot of outdoor games to keep us busy. The cottage was comfortable and we appreciated all the air conditioning units. My only complaint is the ad not mentioning anything about the stairs going down to the beach. You arrive and the rule sheet says "use stairs at your own risk".The stairs were actually kinda scary. Luckily we were all able bodied and able to get down. However it would be disappointing if you came with elderly family members or kids, they wouldn't be able to access the beach at all. If you advertise a property as waterfront, there should be mention of this and some additional photos.
We had an excellent family Thanksgiving weekend and dinner! All the amenities for cooking and eating. It would have been nice to have a dishwasher but there was lots of space for washing and drying (double sink and adequate counter space ). We had two mid size dogs and the lovely fenced in area of the back yard was amazing for them ( the decorative metal fence did not obstruct the views). We sat on the beautiful deck with comfortable cushioned patio furniture and table for outdoor eating. Lots of chairs and lounge areas. Outside the fenced area was well maintained grass and trees stretching towards the lake. Adirondack chairs at the bluff to watch the lake views. There were steps to the beach below to access the beach, however these were difficult to climb. Significant erosion and weather has affected most of the stairs to the beach along all the properties. We weren't there for beaching so that was not a problem for our family. The views and the quiet and privacy made up for this by far. Lots of yard games and a big fire pit just beyond the fenced area. The living space was cozy, chic and comfortable. Bedrooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable.Great for a family getaway! Make note if you plan to rent that the stairs to the second floor bedroom are spiral staircase.
