Charming QLD-style cottage, in Dunwich the Perfect base to explore Nth Straddie
Castaways a charming 2-bedroom house, walking distance to everything in Dunwich. There is a queen size bed in bed 1, double in bed 2 and a fold out futon in the multi-purpose room. We can comfortable sleep 6. Enjoy a BBQ on the Deck or a short stroll into town to visit the local restaurants and Brewery. We are pet friendly with a fully fenced yard. The cottage backs onto Straddie Super Sports a store that stocks just about everything, just incase you forget to bring something it’s so handy. If you are into fishing there is also a good range of bait and tackle in store.
Dunwich is ideally located near both vehicle and passenger ferry terminals and is the perfect base camp for your family holidays. A great base to explore the islands wonderful attractions and activities. Wake up in Dunwich, stroll down for a swim in the calm bayside beach or take a short drive to the stunning brown lake, blue lake, golf course, museum, walk to the Little Ship Club, Straddie Brewing, Sharks Football Club with excellent Thai Restaurant, Barnyard Cafe near by grab breakfast and coffee. The island has so much to offer including the stunning Point Lookout Gorge walk and amazing surf beaches.
