relax and enjoy "OUR HIDE hikingway"a 3 level duplex style cabin located in Big Bear Lodge and Resort As Our guest, you’ll enjoy all the amenities of the resort including free WiFi & Netflix, indoor and outdoor pools, game room, exercise room, and conference room. Our cabin unit is private, yet conveniently located near Wears Valley and minutes away from Pigeon Forge attractions, restaurants, shopping, and Dollywood theme parks. Drive 10 minutes further to experience Gatlinburg and the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Baxter the Bear resides in the upper loft, much to the delight of our guests. While you're staying with us, please help us complete the story of Baxter's journey to 'Our Hiking Hideaway'.

Like to hike? We love to hike in the Smokies. The guidebooks located in the armoire on the main level are provided for our guests wishing to experience the magnificence of the Smokies through hiking. The guides describe location, distance, level of difficulty, and highlights of all 900 miles of trails within the National Park boundary

Not happy

Had to message upon arrival to get key code. No communication before hand. No instructions for thermostat upstairs and downstairs thermostat on wall did nothing. Downstairs pullout was disgusting. Ice maker didnt work. Hot tub was overfilled and had dead bugs in it. Got locked out because front door had a lock on handle beside combonation lock. There was no key for it so i had to pay locksmith. Owner only reimbursed me half of the cost. There were no intructions on what to do on leaving except text a number. No instructions on where to take garbage or anything. The only good thing was the location other than that it was just ok

Don’t Recommend

Hot tub didn’t work the two nights we were there. It was overfilled and overflowed. The panel door was hanging off. Host tried to turn the blame on us. 35-40 year old woman, do not splash around in a hot tub. It was raining and that’s one of things we were looking forward to the most. With all the things, we could point out that was wrong, I’ll just say this is the worst place we’ve stayed in Pigeon Forge in all the years we’ve been going.

Came up to go to the Freeze Out that is hosted by Cades Cove Jeep Outfitters. Had a great time in the Smokey as always 💙

NYE Family Vacay

This vacation was a Christmas present to my family this year. We absolutely loved the location of the cabin. Easy access to all near by attractions! Very spacious and I love we were able to spread out through the cabin & didn’t feel bunched up on top of one another. Minor cleaning issues noticed but nothing we couldn’t take care of ourselves. We would definitely book again!
