Here are some information that might be helpful to you:
1. ski rental places:
The following store is relatively cheaper and close to your chalet.
You can always rent ski gear at the ski resorts with higher price. The price does not include Helmets. It will cost 5 to 7 Canadian dollars each. Bring your own Helmet and mask if possible.
2. Costco ski tickets price:
a. Lake Louise: 2 tickets for 150$ -- highly recommended (regular 99$ youth (13-17 years old) 77$)
b. Sunshine Village: 3 tickets for 230$ -- highly recommended (regular 99$ youth 77$)
c. Nakiska: 2 tickets for 115$ (regular 65$ youth (13-17) 49$) -- snow condition not as good as the above 2 resorts
3. Dog sledding tour - you may need reserve in advance.
4. “not-to-be-missed” activities that I can think of:
a. Johnston Canyon ice walk (2 hours)
b. Banff Hot Spring
c. Northern light watch
5. Some restaurants in Canmore to consider:
The Trough Dining Co – Canadian style $$$$
Tapas Restaurant – European Style $$$$ (Some of the guests loved it.)
Rocky Mountain Flatbread Company – Italian style (Very busy place)
Crazy Weed – Canadian style
The Grizzly Paw Brewing Company – Bar (Local beer and spirit, food is ok. Very busy place)
There is a Le fournil Bakery close to the Chalet for breakfast. (I personally like it)
6. Some restaurants in Banff to consider:

About the host
Hosted by Grant Anderson

I grew up in the Canadian Rockies and I believe it is one of the most beautiful places on earth, filled with the opportunity for endless activities. Although, I am new to Airbnb and I am honored to share this iconic location with visitors and provide a cozy home away from home during their mountain escape. My goal is to not only make guest's trip comfortable, but also the most memorable so that they cannot wait for their next trip to the Rockies.
