Best Holiday Vacation Ever!

Decided to drive from SD to FL for the 2020 Christmas holiday and spend a few days at the beach on Siesta Key. This house was perfect for our family of 6! Within easy walking distance to the most beautiful beach in the nation. The house also includes about 10 small foldable beach chairs AND 2 wagons to get cooler, chairs etc to the white sandy beach. The owner was very very responsive to all communication and offered local rental options at a discounted price. Every room in our level of the house (there’s an upstairs for rent as well) was clean and smelled fresh. We went to market less than a block from house, bought some food/adult beverages and cooked breakfast in house each morning then spent entire day at beach to watch the FL sunset. Just loved the hot tub and beautiful murals painted in backyard. A very unique space with everything our family needed to make 2020 our best holiday vacation ever! We will be back and will definitely recommend this location to our friends too. Thanks for the memories!

Let me first say, location was fantastic! Walked to restaurants and ocean and that was great! Now the place itself, definitely did not meet the description. I don’t know what angles the camera used, but it definitely fooled us. Made the place look so much cleaner and bigger than it was. The floors in the apartment were sticky and dirty. Some of the pillows were ripped and stained. The washer and dryer had items in there from previous stay. There were no washcloths. The pool and jacuzzi were dirty. The grill was rusted and falling apart. There were 2 coolers with carts to take to the beach. One was completely broken and the other was so dirty and rusted. The beach chairs that are provided were completely rotted and moldy. The coffee table was wobbly. Had to call property manager and he did come over. He did clean the jacuzzi, threw out the grill and the cart that holds the cooler and gave us washcloths. The description states that it can accommodate 12 people. No way! We had 9 and it was tight. I will 100% look for a different place next time I go back. We made the best of our weekend but the place itself needed some work and a deep clean.

Great Experience and Superb Location

Great location (and proximity to the beach), and responsive host. Was impressed by how much beach equipment was available for us to use! We stayed in the downstairs unit and noticed that the upstairs guests were a bit loud at time. Outside of that, we had a great experience!

Why they chose this property

This is the most unique property and the best location on Siesta Key. There is absolutey no where else like it and it is just simply magical. The 32' mural wall is the only of of it's kind from 3 famous artists that travel the world.
