About this property
Wanaka Lake House - Close to That Wanaka Tree
This warm and inviting guest home is a short walking distance to Lake Wanaka. There is a light-filled, open-plan living, kitchen and dining space (with wood burner) and a second massive lounge room if you need a quiet escape. All five bedrooms feature ensuites, adjustable heating and a digitized door lock. A mere 350m (approx) walk down the road will have you dipping your toes into Lake Wanaka and enjoying the lakeside trail.
The house has 5 bedrooms, each with their own en-suite. The default setup for beds will be 4 king beds and 1 Queen bed though we also have a fold out bed in the Master Bedroom that can be made up for larger family groups, and we can also potentially split a couple of Kings into Singles as well. Any bed reconfiguration will attract a $25 fee per bed so please ask if our default setup doesn't work for you.

The Little Extras
We provide all the essentials to make your stay seamless, including initial supplies of toiletries, kitchen basics, and more. Please note that these are starter supplies, and you may need to replenish them during your stay.
You will have access to the entire home.
I respect the privacy of my guests but remain readily available to address any enquiries. Occasionally, I may stop by simply to ensure that everyone is enjoying their stay.
OUR STRICT RULES:
1. No loud noise outside after 10:00 pm: As we are situated in a residential area, we kindly request that you refrain from creating any disruptive noise after 10:00 pm. Our neighbours have been informed to notify us of any excessive noise disturbances. If you anticipate difficulty adhering to this rule, we kindly ask that you reconsider booking with us.
2. No parties without prior approval: Any gatherings or events require prior approval, and unauthorised parties will result in the immediate cancellation of your reservation, with no refund. Please note that there may be an additional fee for hosting extra guests if approved.
3. Checkout is at 10:00 am: We kindly request that you check out by 10:00 am on the day of your departure. If you require a late checkout, please submit your request at least 24 hours in advance. Late checkouts are subject to availability.
4. No smoking inside the property: Smoking, including the usage of any recreational drugs, is strictly prohibited inside the premises.
5. Leave the property in a reasonable state: We expect the property to be left in a reasonable and tidy condition upon departure. Any additional cleaning required beyond the normal cleaning procedures will be charged at a rate of $60 per hour. Please promptly report any damages, spills, or stains during your stay. If necessary, you may be held responsible for the cost of replacement or professional cleaning.
6. Board Games. We love that people play our games but please ensure games are back in their original boxes prior to departure. As its a time consuming task to put games back together there will be a $60 charge by the cleaner to action this task.
7. BBQ must be cleaned after each use by the guest. Failure to clean the BBQ and utensils will result in a $100 charge by the cleaner.
