House was clean and near the Henry Ford museum and Greenfield village. Lighting could have been better and there was only one washcloth.

I agree—Dearborn Den is a simple, non-luxury, yet quaint place. It’s also a great home base for exploring The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. I’m so glad you chose to stay an extra night since you were enjoying your visit so much!
Our housekeeper typically leaves two washcloths per bed, so I apologize if only one was left by mistake. For future reference, if you had reached out through our 24/7 guest line or the Airbnb thread, we would have been happy to bring over additional washcloths—or even another lamp.
As a small, family-owned business, guest comfort is always our top priority. I appreciate your feedback about the lighting; we are always looking for ways to enhance the guest experience.
We hope you’ll consider returning to one of our Freshwater Vacation Rentals properties the next time you visit Michigan.
Sincerely,
Cara

Building was drafty, heat was all over the place. Floors were very slippery. Beds were so soft, they really need a boxspring.

I'm so sorry to hear that your stay was less than ideal. A new furnace was installed this summer, so the heat should have been comfortable. We will look into whether a vent may have been closed, as that could have caused the inconsistency you experienced. I do wish you had reached out to our 24/7 guest services line—we would have been happy to send someone over to make sure your stay was exactly as both of us intended.
Yes, the floors are primarily luxury vinyl. We want to ensure they are safe for all our guests, so I truly appreciate you bringing this concern to our attention.
I also appreciate your feedback about the beds. We will keep this in mind as we consider future updates.
Thank you again for sharing your experience.
Sincerely,
Cara

We enjoyed our stay.....Note: The front bedroom was hot as the air condition vent doesn't work; the vents was open but no air blowing . ..

It was fine. Highlights - lots of outlets, comfortable beds, appreciated the coffee and the nice towels. The tv situation was terrible! We watched a lot of Murder, She Wrote!
