Perfect for a family getaway

This rental was fantastic for our family vacation! The check-in was smooth, and location could not be beat. Everyone had a great time, and while the door lock was a bit tricky on a particularly humid day, communication with the host was excellent.

Everything was clean and seemed to be brand new. The proximity to the beach was amazing!

Amazing location with a quick walk to the beach, and within a 10 min walk to Main Ave restaurants and Asbury Park boardwalk. The apartment was updated and very clean, perfect for our family of 5 with kids. The sofa beds in two of the bedrooms are a bit small and may not comfortably fit adults but our kids fit nicely and enjoyed the privacy of their own rooms vs a hotel. We also enjoyed the deck for morning coffee and star gazing. Would stay again!

The location of the apartment is excellent - a nice quiet street in Ocean Grove, close to the beach and Main Street. Plenty of parking. The porch was large and private to the apartment. The living area was spacious enough for three people. Thats where the positives end. I messaged the owner twice during our stay through VRBO and they never responded. The stairs up to the apartment are very narrow, and there is no working light at the top of the stairs, making getting up them at night dangerous. The apartment was not adequately clean when we arrived - sand on the floor, hair in the shower, someone else's toothbrush and toothpaste left behind, the couches are all stained. There are gaps in all of the doors, so i wouldn’t recommend staying here in the winter or expect it to stay cool in the summer. The ceiling fan/light in one of the bedrooms didn't work at all. The windows were filthy. The bathroom is so narrow it’s difficult for an average sized person to move in it. The listing says this apartment sleeps 8, but i dont understand on what planet 8 people would fit. Would not recommend staying here if you could avoid it.
