A quick 30 minute drive from downtown Prince George and your biggest choice will be to enjoy lake views from inside, on the deck or on the dock!
Nukko Lake is a destination favourite for SUP boarding, kayaking, canoeing and boating enthusiasts. It is also a delightful swimming lake. The cabin frontage is located in a delta area so paddling away off the dock is preferable to go for a swim. Wildlife sighting include moose, deer, bear, beaver, otter, lake birds (you will hear loons!) chipmunk, stoat and if you’re lucky, squirrel! This is a rural lakeside location surrounded by nature in central BC. There will be insects, predominantly May through July!
On the main floor of this A-frame cabin tucked away on your private one acre lake front retreat, you will find a new electric range and refrigerator, eating and sitting area with wood burning stove. The sleeping area upstairs has a queen size bed and a double futon. This is a clean, comfortable but rustic cabin dating back to the sixties. While there is electricity, the interior of this cabin does not have running water! Outside you will find multiple boardwalks leading to separate buildings housing the no flush toilet, outdoor shower and kitchen wash up station. There is an additional newer bunkie equipped with a loft double bed and a twin size tuck away floor bed available for an extra booking fee of $70.00/per night based on maximum 2 adult occupancy.
The property is has a gentle slope to the lake however there are two short sets of stairs where it may be unsuitable for guests with mobility restrictions,
