About this property
1900’s farmhouse, hot tub & fireplace
Creekside at 409 Bronck is a 3 bed 2 bath farmhouse style 2 story home that sits along a babbling creek.
We offer Creekside singularly or for larger parties and groups as a part of our Owls Hoot Barn ‘complex’ of vacation rentals and barns.
Our properties have all been restored with attention to period details of the era of the house.
Well appointed, clean, and centrally located with easy access to Hudson, Catskill, Athens and all the Hudson Vallwy has to offer. Remote work enabled w/ WiFi!
The space
Creekside @ 409 Bronck
Our space is perfectly suited for groups of 6 (max 8) or for families.
Highly desired area just minutes to the Hudson River and easy access to the NYS Thruway means shopping and dining are just minutes away.
Antiques and an eclectic mix lof furniture compliments the white painted wood walls.
Our first floor living space king primary bedroom has a semi-private en suite full bath with a separate makeup room between the two.
Our second floor living space offers two separate bedrooms, a king bed and a queen bed along with a shared bathroom upstairs.
The living room offers two couches, one is a trundle bed (two twins).
There is a office area in the entry for computer work, but we hope you won't work while here;-)
Climax Creek run along the back of the house, while too shallow and Ricky to swim in our guests enjoy sleeping to the sounds of this babbling creek.
Guest access
Guests have access to all living spaces (basement is private/locked)…this is NOT a shared space it is a single family home rented exclusively as a vacation rental to our guests.
Other things to note
This is a historic Hudson Valley home, in our region you can expect bugs such as boxelder beetles, lady bugs, stink bugs, ants and bees seasonally.
Please consider this if you have any issues or fears. We cannot guarantee the spaces will be free from them but we do employ pest control services and use natural essential oils spray to deter them. A small handheld vacuum is also left in the space for your use during your stay:-)
Code lock easy checkin; excellent WiFi enables remote work option; pets allowed with fee;-) $75 per pet please inquire …
Smoke free - vape free please!
Pets fee is $75 which supports the work I do uniting stray and abandoned Satos with loving adoptives homes here in NY MA CT. You can find us @poochesoutofpr
We expect pets to be house trained and not to go on furniture. If your custom is to allow this please bring your own coverings. Also bring your own towels to wipe down your pet after walks or in inclement weather. Added cleaning will apply if our cleaners must do a deep cleaning to remove hair and prints / dirt from furniture or beds;-) we’ve been there, we understand it happens … we just want to ensure we can keep our pets allowed policy.
