About this property
A Cottage In Richmond
A Cottage in Richmond sits in the historical village of Richmond just outside Hobart. Only a 15 minute drive from Hobart Airport and within 10 km of all Coal Valley vineyards. A converted studio style cottage in the garden of our property. Quiet and so very peaceful overlooking the rosemary and lavender at the entrance to our vegetable garden. You are sure to relax and unwind after a day of touring our Coal Valley wine region. Perhaps with a bottle of wine, some cheese and local chocolate.
Our cottage has been renovated and designed with the utmost thought for your comfort and relaxation. From the comfort of the beds to the privacy of the garden we have provided all you will need to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Coal Valley.
The entire Cottage is yours to enjoy for your stay, including a little private courtyard. Access to fresh herbs and vegetables upon request.
You likely won't meet us in person, but we are just a phone call away.
Richmond is one of Tasmania's most popular destinations, steeped in history and set in the Coal River Valley wine region. Famous for its Georgian architecture and lovely heritage buildings as well as the beautiful Richmond Bridge, it is now home to cafes, antique stores, chocolate shops, wine tasting houses and other artisan delights.
We recommend hiring a car when visiting. There is a bus station with busses into the city, but the Cottage itself is a 15 minute walk from the bus station.
Our cottage has a king sized bed that splits into two king single beds at your request. Access to private helicopter tour and much more.
We require a copy of a government issued photo ID prior to guest check-in. Strictly no pets, no smoking, and no parties.
