Pictures and description were spot on. Clean and well stocked. Far enough out of town yet still convenient to restaurants and stores. Definitely would book again.
This cabin was a great place to get away and wind down from Christmas, it’s located close enough to town but far enough away to be quite,
The cabin is decorated very nice and it has everything anyone would need to prepare their own meals, the view was also great, we saw some local wildlife, deer and a raccoon. The Ingles grocery in Murphy is also great, we will be returning for another trip
What a lovely cabin! We had a great time and were able to see some of the local sites and explore Nantahala. The cabin was immaculately cleaned and the decor really makes you feel like you are immersed into a different world. Stocked up with everything you could and need and more. I wish we could have stayed longer, the master bed was so comfortable. The pictures don’t do the cabin justice. Our expectations were definitely exceeded and we hope to be back soon.

We stayed for our 7 year anniversary and to get away from our 5 teenage kids. It was fantastic. Quiet and private. The only thing we didn't like was the trash situation. We didn't realize until the night before we left that we had to take the trash into town( during certain hours) and we didn't make it there in time so we had to leave our bag of trash there at the house😞. I felt so bad so I left cash on the table as a sorry for the trouble and inconvenience. I guess we were living in our own world and just didn't see the sign on the fridge to tell us what to do.😅 Also I would have loved to write in the notebook but couldn't find a pen at all, not even in my car😳. There is a taco truck down the road that is amazing! Overall, I loved this cabin and everything in it. Would love to book again in the future!
My husband and I loved the cabin! It was such a peaceful, cozy place to stay for a week! We especially loved seeing all the deer as we sat on the back porch. We highly recommend staying here! We will most definitely be back again!
The Rustic Trail Cabin was an awesome experience. When you walk through door you are at home! Cabin was decorated so cute with complete cabin feel. The screened porch was wonderful to place to relax. Very well stocked with everything you need. Close to town, hiking, waterfalls, wineries & groceries or restaurants. Hope to make a return trip. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin!
We enjoyed our stay in this cozy, comfy cabin. It had everything we needed and the bed was so comfortable. We enjoyed the screened porch and the cozy fire. We were only at the cabin late at night and early morning as we stayed out sight seeing, but it was so perfect for us. We felt right at home and appreciated how clean it was and how easy to reach. We always look for king beds on one floor with no pets and no smoking, and in safe areas. This cabin was perfect. Thank you so much for all the care and thought you put into the place. We truly enjoyed it.
I booked a stay here for my father to work on his novel. From his account, it was the perfect choice with a secluded cozy feel and a screened-in porch with a view of the woods to get those creative juices flowing :)
This was our second time visiting this awesome cabin. We love the peace and quiet especially on the screened in porch. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Can't wait to visit again!
This cabin was so wonderful… nice and cozy and loved the location. We saw several wild turkeys, birds, deer and the crazy crows. Definitely felt like home away from home. The cabin was fully stocked and ready, my favorite was the screened in porch… so relaxing! Great place to spend my birthday weekend. Thanks for sharing your little piece of heaven with us.
Everything was perfect at this cabin! The setting is gorgeous, the furnishings are tasteful and comfortable, and the location is great for day trips. Our favorite cabin now!!!
This was such a cute little property. The back screened in porch was so nice. It was my favorite place. The decor was super cute too. That one lamp shade with the geodes is amazing!
We absolutely loved the cabin! My husband and I have rented from VRBO for years and this was one of our favorite properties. We had my elderly mother with us and it was perfect for her with no stairs. The cabin was extremely clean with comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. We loved the screened in porch and the peace and quiet! Would definitely like to return in the future.
We really enjoyed staying here. It’s very quiet, cozy, and tucked away. We came to Murphy to get away from the hustle of the city life, and that’s exactly what we got.
...you would experience hurricane weather in the Smoky Mountains!! We came up Wed. evening, to find Hurricane Zeta was coming right behind us. In the wee hours of the night, we lost power and a tree fell on the house. Thankfully, we were able to get out and down the mountainside, dodging trees and downed power lines. We stopped at the property management office on our way home, to notify of damage. Cindi, was wonderful to work with during the entire process, and we worked out a great vacation plan for 2021. The house is absolutely adorable! Very clean! The back porch is screened-in, and backs up to woods. I look forward to visiting again next year!
The bear theme was great. Maybe a burn pit in the back yard would be cool. Also the address says 51 but on house #said 50 . Thought we were in the wrong place but everything was the same as picture and the info. The floors in master and extra bedroom were a little noisy . maybe some listing of places to eat and entertainment things to do. But in all of that I would stay again.
