About this property

CNZhouse: classical and new, with space, near river, in CBD

CNZhouse is a balance between unique on a residential area near local Avon River and convenience the City Centre offers. Steps to a pleasant Chesterfield park and a popular Little Poms neighborhood cafe.
Full insulation and all double glazing. Amenities such as air conditioning, panel heater, ventilation(HRV), heat transfer and electric blankets contribute to warmth during NZ winter.
Also, it is equipped with a whole-house water filtration system, various fruit trees and raised vegetable beds.

This attached entire self-contained unit B, major part of a classical CNZhouse purpose built in 2016, situates on a 500 sqm section fully fenced, features a rare elevated interior space and single-storey only. With careful design and comfort, it keeps you cosy all year round.
Well placed large glasses sliding doors on both north facing spacious lounge and sunroom or balcony give a pleasant street view. Overlook the idyllic garden with 300 sqm established with mature plantings on the backyard that create a lovely park-like feel.
Huge en-suite provides a queen size bed and a double size sofa-bed. The semi-open space just accommodates a super-king size bed and is separated from the hallway by a curtain instead of a door. The extra-long sofa on the lounge offers choice to sleep in case.
Classical big kitchen and dining area. A laundry room and additional toilet room. New home appliances and furnitures.
The sizeable entranceway with a 4 steps stair and the backyard both are shared for two units.

CNZ house is well located. Unit B is spacious, well equipped, fresh, clean, warm and very comfortable. The large conservatory room is a bonus when the sun is out, with table and seating at one end, and as a drying room with excellent clothes airers at the other end. My husband enjoyed the super sized TV in the lounge area. The kitchen has plenty of storage, and all you need to cook with. A lot can be stored in the large fridge freezer. The laundry, just off the kitchen, has a butler pantry setup, with microwave. The washing machine and clothes dryer complete this room. The master bedroom has a large ensuite. The shower is great and there is good storage under the sink unit. Apart from the ensuite toilet there is another toilet room with a vanity, off the hallway, which is a great bonus. The beds were warm and comfortable. We stayed a week in Unit B. Clark, the owner, communicated well and responded promptly to our requests. We ended up having 2 grandchildren, ages 5 and 10 years, stay for 2 nights. They loved the space to play in and enjoyed the nearby park. There is some building going on next door and across the road from CNZ house, so a little noise during the day, however it is quiet after the builders go. With another unit at the back there is “Quiet time” from 9pm to 7am. Very restful and snug inside at night. A home away from home. We would stay again. Dot & Michael Haslam
