Peakview Lodge Wanaka
This classic Wānaka-style home is newly refurbished to bring the modern comforts of Wānaka living. Located in a quiet, picturesque neighbourhood, Peakview Lodge is a short, pleasant walk from the town centre, lakefront, and the renowned Wānaka Tree. With an expansive outdoor deck for relaxed gatherings and a cosy log-burning fireplace indoors, this home is a perfect escape for two families looking to enjoy quality time together.
Designed with socialising in mind, the open-plan living space offers both ample room for shared moments and private spots to unwind. The bright dining area comfortably seats eight and offers lovely views of Roy's Peak. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with high-end amenities, including double ovens, dual dishwashers, and a spacious fridge-freezer, making meal prep a delight. This inviting home also includes four well-sized bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two distinct lounges, ensuring everyone has space to relax.
Upstairs, the master bedroom boasts a king-size bed with a private ensuite, accompanied by a flexible twin room that can be transformed into a king if needed.
The lower level features two charming queen bedrooms, an additional bathroom, a separate toilet, and a cosy lounge area with a smart TV and soundbar. A convenient kitchenette on this floor adds extra flexibility.
Comfort and Convenience:
Stay comfortable in any season, with a heat pump and log burner upstairs, underfloor heating downstairs, and electric blankets on all beds. Additional heaters are also provided for extra warmth.
The laundry facilities include two washing machines, two dryers, and an outdoor clothesline, along with extras like a drying rack, steamer, iron, and ironing board.
A double garage with internal access and generous storage space provides ample room for vehicles, outdoor gear, and more, making Peakview Lodge a perfectly equipped base for your Wānaka adventures.
OUR STRICT RULES:
1. No loud noise outside after 10:00 pm: As we are situated in a residential area, we kindly request that you refrain from creating any disruptive noise after 10:00 pm. Our neighbours have been informed to notify us of any excessive noise disturbances. If you anticipate difficulty adhering to this rule, we kindly ask that you reconsider booking with us.
2. No parties without prior approval: Any gatherings or events require prior approval, and unauthorised parties will result in the immediate cancellation of your reservation, with no refund. Please note that there may be an additional fee for hosting extra guests if approved.
3. Checkout is at 10:00 am: We kindly request that you check out by 10:00 am on the day of your departure. If you require a late checkout, please submit your request at least 24 hours in advance. Late checkouts are subject to availability.
4. No smoking inside the property: Smoking, including the usage of any recreational drugs, is strictly prohibited inside the premises.
5. Leave the property in a reasonable state: We expect the property to be left in a reasonable and tidy condition upon departure. Any additional cleaning required beyond the normal cleaning procedures will be charged at a rate of $60 per hour. Please promptly report any damages, spills, or stains during your stay. If necessary, you may be held responsible for the cost of replacement or professional cleaning.
6. Board Games. We love that people play our games but please ensure games are back in their original boxes prior to departure. As its a time consuming task to put games back together there will be a $60 charge by the cleaner to action this task.
7. BBQ must be cleaned after each use by the guest. Failure to clean the BBQ and utensils will result in a $100 charge by the cleaner.
