The stay was mostly great! The cabin is not as updated as some we have stayed in, but it has a rustic feel to it, and it's decorated nicely. The hot tub was good, and we used the fire pit as well. TVs worked fine, the wifi was good, and we played some of the card games they had. It is pretty close to the Hochatown maze and petting zoo as well. It is a few miles outside of the main attractions on 259, but there are other houses and cabins around.

I want to start by saying the host was very sweet and communication was good. But, unfortunately we had so many issues with this property. Upon arrival there were bugs everywhere. Spiders on the wall/in the couch, even dead ones. Which we knew there would be bugs/ wildlife because of the area. But we weren't even able to go to sleep without waking up with multiple bites on our body. The hot tub was broken and had a broken motor at the time of arrival and was not able to be fixed within the time frame which stirred up a lot of other issues. The host did try her best to even reach the home owners but because it was is a small town they couldn't get anyone out/to answer. Which resulted in us having to relocate. The beds besides the master room where extremely uncomfortable as well. We had to go buy a mattress pad for our stay. I hope everyone else has a more positive experience then we did :(... (I would ask if the appliance are working before booking)

Additionally, while our home is located in a beautiful, heavily wooded area where outdoor insects are common, the interior is regularly treated by professional pest control services to ensure a clean and comfortable environment. We appreciate your insights as we continue to maintain the highest standards for our property.
