We loved our stay here - it was truly beachfront in all the best ways, with views down the beach on two sides of the property. Being the last bach on the beach at Papamoa, there are only grasses, sand, and sea on the right-hand-side of the property, which makes this a truly special place to stay. The house is also beautifully laid out, and has everything we needed and wanted to really enjoy our stay. We will definitely be back - we just loved it!

This Bach is in the perfect location, with a great lawn and fort for the kids looking out over the beach. The house is really lovely, spotlessly clean, and with everything you need for a kiwi beach holiday. We were here in winter and loved it. Would love to come back in summer!

Something for everyone! Even though we stayed during the colder winter months, the house was wonderfully cozy. The hosts provided plenty of extra blankets and a couple of heaters that kept the us warm and comfortable. It ended up raining for a good portion of our stay, but the house exceeded our expectations by being fully stocked with fantastic, toddler-friendly toys that kept the little ones thoroughly entertained the whole time. We couldn't have asked for a better spot for a family escape and would happily stay here again!

We absolutely adored this cozy, beautifully presented home with unimpeded views over the ocean and sand dunes. How special it was to witness glorious sunrises and relaxing time on the deck marvelling at the scenery. Indeed it is truly the very best location in Papamoa and would recommend it to anyone wanting seclusion and a unique stay away.

The bach is just in a perfect location. Waking up with the sunrise was such a treat! We made the most of the beach - even in winter! - given it is so close.The bach is very clean, very well maintained, comfortable. Our kids made the most of both the indoors and outdoors games (including swings, hammock, beach toys...). Nobody wanted to leave...Thank you Lorraine for preparing the back for us and for being so responsive!

This was the best VRBO we have ever used! Where to start? The location is unreal - so close to the ocean it looks like the waves are inside the home. Close to a great grocery store (key when you have a kid or kids) as well as coffee shops and some restaurants. The beach property is just amazing, and I set a high bar being from California. Plenty of space, extremely well organized, and unlike other rentals, it had all - and even more - than you could need. Seasonings, utensils, washing machine, toys for kids, books, TV with some streamers logged in, literally everything. The wi-fi was strong which is important because I work remotely. The host, Lorraine, is absolutely top-notch. She deserves 5 stars. The remoteness is exactly what we wanted, and Papamoa Beach is beautiful. If we lived closer, honestly, we would rent this place once a year. I cannot say enough - 5 stars, top notch, really special. Kia ora, Lorraine! Be well, we are so appreciative of this place.

Perfect beach front location! Exactly what I was looking for, beautiful views out most of the windows, comfortable beds, good shower pressure, plenty of good thick pillows, crisp sheets hotel style, nice kitchen, decor, cute hanging chairs/toddler swing, lots of places to sit and enjoy the sun/sea views both in and outside. Also, you can see both sunrise and sunset from the property which is amazing!! I loved that I didn't have to drive anywhere and could just stroll down to the beach in between kid nap times/when there was a pretty sky. Nice big front yard fenced off for kids, private beach access with the beach and sea being so close! Lorraine was friendly and had great communication with speedy replies. I will definitely be back. Thank you!
