Ideally located inside Lakeside gates: The town of Lakeside sits on the shore of Lake Erie , between Port Clinton and Marblehead . Lakeside offers loads of activities including: fishing, kayaking, shuffle board, mini golf , bike/ golf cart rental ,swimming pool, fitness center, art & music activities and live entertainment to name a few.
Cottage is steps away from downtown , Hoover Auditorium & Dock. Location is quiet, tucked behind main house & offers an outdoor courtyard with seating. Newly renovated cottage is fresh, clean & offers lots of natural light. Cottage has an open floor plan with a double bed, new futon, full kitchen, eating area, lounging area, window A/C, Cable/WIFI, bike storage, & large walk-in closet.
*Memorial Day weekend- Labor Day weekend Lakeside charges DAILY gate fees $30-$42 PER PERSON and Auto Fees $8-$18 PER VEHILCLE. PLEASE Review Gate and Parking fees in Rental Agreement at time of booking.

*Fees are NOT included in your cottage rental fee.

Lakeside vacation

We had a wonderful weekend getaway. This was our first time going to that area, Lakeside was beautiful and so much to do, or not. The cottage was beautiful and was impressed with all of the small details the owners did. We definitely would go again!

Cozy cottage close to town center

The cottage was a cute little place. Perfect for that couple that would like a nice place to stay all while being close to the Lakeside town center, pier, and all the other amenities. The place was very clean and had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay.

Great little stay

This little stay is perfect for a couple at lakeside. We stayed here while the rest of our family stayed at another place, and it was nice to have our own space. It was one of the hottest weeks in the summer, and the AC still kept it cool.

Perfect little space!

My mom and daughter stayed here while my husband and I were camp counselors for Reach Out Camp at Lakeside. It is the perfect little space for 2-3 people. The location is excellent and the owners are great to work with!

Perfect setting!

The cottage is exceptionally clean, very private, is fully equipped and located in a pristine area of Lakeside which is close to all amenities. Perfect for a couple's getaway for a family of three. The owner was exceptionally helpful and very timely with responses.

Cute little place!

Great little place close to all. My 90 year old mother was even able to walk to the shops. Perfect for one or two people and everything included. New couch / futon was a great addition from last year.

Lakeside getaway

This was so cute , clean and close to everything. We walked everywhere in town and took the shuttle to pool . We had everything we needed inside our apt. Highly recommend this place.

Comfy cottage on Maple

We had a great stay at this cottage. It had everything you need for a stay inside and out! We enjoyed lunch on our own private patio area. Barb, our host, was in touch with us to make sure we were settled in. Close to all activities in Lakeside. Thank you for true Lakeside hospitality!

Perfect lil home away from home! ❤️

We loved our stay at Barb and Dave’s place! (It was amazing to have this comfy & cozy cottage to stay in between shuffleboard, mini golf, ice cream trips, and strolling around downtown lakeside!) This place has everything you need, a nice kitchen, an AC unit, quaint bathroom + shower, and a small outdoor place to relax in the evening. It was located super close to the Hoover auditorium and downtown area. We parked in the local lot close the house which was great when we explored outside of community. We already can’t wait to come back to Barb and Dave’s place! What an absolute joy to stay to show Lakeside to my wife. 😀

From the small details, to the cleanliness, this was a great cottage to spend 9 days. Excellent location in Lakeside Chautauqua, and spotless. We have been coming to Lakeside Chautauqua for 12 years, and this was one of our favorite places to stay! The fridge was big enough, and the small kitchen was big enough to make large family meals. The secluded patio was a great place to decompress after a day at the Lake. Barb was a superb communicator, and extremely helpful. You’ll love this blue cottage too!

Our first impression was that the cottage was really small. But it did have a kitchen and it quite possibly could be the cleanest and best use of space place where we have stayed. The closet was a bonus as somewhere to put our bags out of the way. There was sufficient lighting and windows to make it appear larger. The location was awesome, close to the center of everything of importance at Lakeside. The only downside was no parking at the cottage but evennthst was not much of a problem since we only used our car once during the stay. And we would definitely stay there again.

Location, location!

This wonderful cottage is a short stroll to the lakefront, shops, Hoover auditorium and other activities in Lakeside! The kitchen is perfectly set up and equipped! Barb has many simple instructions posted for things in the cottage, such as check out and use of the TV/cable remote. This cottage has the charm and “feel” of this lovely community of Lakeside. This is our second stay and we’ll be back again.

Studio cottage

The studio cottage was meticulously clean and well organized. For a small space, we had everything we needed. The location was excellent, just a few blocks from shops, eateries and the lake. The outdoor patio space was wonderful!!
