Gita was incredibly friendly and helpful when I got lost on my way there walking from the bus stop. The space was inviting, very clean, and comfortable. When there was a minor issue with noise it was addressed right away to make my stay more comfortable. Would recommend this suite for a getaway from the city!

My stay at Coastal Hideaway was comfortable, quiet, and clean. Check-in was a breeze, and communication with Gita during my stay was promptly responded to. The kitchenette comes with essentials such as a hot-plate, frying pan, pot, and electric kettle. The wifi is strong so I found no issues with streaming shows on the tv and my own devices. This room comes exactly as advertised; bright, clean and minimalist, just what I needed for a relaxing week away from the city! I am very happy with my experience, especially considering the price. The main highlights of my stay were the view from the room/porch and the accessibility to Soames Hill Park. I would definitely recommend this spot if you’re interested in a casual hike, bird-watching, or visiting the nearby brewery!

First, our host Gita was awesome. Communication was great, very responsive and truly cared that we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The property was beautiful. Even saw deers. The unit is nicely decorated and very clean. Comfortable bed. Little touches provided in the bathroom was nice. The kitchen was good. I believe there is a hotplate to cook (did not get to use it) and the coffee, tea, coffee syrup, sugar was all provided - very much appreciated. Perhaps add teapot for the heavy tea drinkers? But, confident that if I asked for one, Gita would have provided it.Love this place and highly recommended. Cynthia B.

Charming place. Loved the high ceilings and simple, understated decor with mostly empty shelves. Decor is super important to me because I hate clutter, live laugh love crap, or the cliche beach merch that you see in vacation rentals. Everything matched in a nice way. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and the perfect bedding for summer. The room temp was also perfect, Never had to change anything. Great hike just across the street. Couldn’t find coffee filters, but there were pods for people who use those. I think it would have been solved if I had contacted the hosts, but solved with Starbucks. No ice in ice cube trays and freezer needs a wipe but definitely no deal breakers. So quiet I slept in until 9 when I get up at 7 on weekends in the city! Great place for a couple nights on the coast if you are driving.
