The suit was wonderful with a large deck that led to stairs and a path to an ocean view. Our dog loved sunning himself on the deck and watching the waves crash against the rocky coastline.The kitchen was equipped with a fridge, microwave, toaster oven and hot plate. We baked our pizza on the BBQ.The hosts were wonderful and very helpful.We would definitely stay again.

The suite is tidy, clean, with comfortable bed and linens. The location is peaceful and conducive to connecting with nature. The hosts are exceptionally caring and communicate with ease. The suite is homey and not "motel-like" in the least. The series of decks down to the seaside are awesome.

Great stay!

We had some travel hiccups, and our hosts Bev and Bill were amazing to work , allowing our trip to go smoothly. The unit was very clean, the scones were super yummie, and the accomodation spotless. Beaing on the water and watching bald eagles and see seals was the icing on the cake. Thank you.

Hearts filled with Sunshine

We came back! Last year was incredible and we hoped to repeat the good times. And did we ever. Sadly, a shorter stay but BABAJAMAS allows us to slow down, take in the views, hear all the sounds and feel all the feels with comfort, class and warmth. Bill and Bev - you are the BEST! Thank you.We are heading back home with our hearts and senses filled PS- we will be back..

Wonderful property and fantastic hosts!

My girlfriend and I stayed at the property with our dog, and had a great experience. The hosts were marvelous, so friendly and accommodating and gave us some great recommendations. The property itself was a delight, very clean and relaxing, with an absolutely world-class waterfront deck area/access. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, our only regret is we didn't stay longer!

Sechelt Stay with a Beautiful Ocean View

Really were treated very well from start to finish. We stayed 3 nights and were very impressed with the entire place we stayed at inside and out. It has all the modern amenities you need for a great stay. The host Bev was very gracious and gave us a jar of homemade jam and scones that were wonderful. Would highly recommend this place to a couple that likes privacy and a view.

Home away from home

We loved everything about this property…it was like staying with friends who provide every comfort of home with a lot more privacy. You can’t go wrong staying in this lovely, roomy suite. Bev and Bill couldn’t be more accommodating and her baking is the best in town.

Fabulous trip!

My partner and I stayed for the Canada Day long weekend, which is also our anniversary. The space is comfortable with many extra touches like the homemade scones and granola, and a note with details about local events. The deck, view and fire pit were fantastic. Bev even shared some delicious strawberry shortcake from her family’s Canada Day celebration. Thanks for a great stay!

The best dang getaway

Bev and Bill have every detail figured out for an absolutely beautiful and relaxing stay! From the complementary homemade scones and jam to the coffee kit to take down to the lower deck to enjoy spectacular Sechelt Inlet views … everything is perfect. Very comfortable suite. Geat view of the water. Wonderful if the weather is good. Host is extremely helpful and accommodating. Tough to find the first time. Driveway and stairs would be difficult for some people.

Unique and charming hideaway

My husband and I were amazed at how charming this place is!! We immediately felt like this was perfect ! The home is rich with wood accents on the decks- the landings down to the beach were little hideaways- so much space to relax in! Hosts Bill and Bev were perfect, with added goodies. We love Sechelt and our stay was awesome.

WOW ~ a must

We had a quick little 4 day getaway and chose this beautiful one bedroom because of it's location! The views are amazing, Bev and Bill are amazing, it was relazing, just what we needed. We were greeted with a full set up for our puppy and baked treats for us. We will be back, thank you!

Perfect in every way

When you make a reservation based on pictures and reviews, you cross your fingers and hope for the best. If you're lucky enough to stay in Bev and Bill's home-away-from-home, you'll truly enjoy "The Best" that VRBO has to offer. The beautifully decorated home has stunning views from several layers of decks all the way to the ocean where you can totally relax and enjoy the peaceful setting. My Sechelt Sanctuary

This was my second time staying at this suite. And it won’t be my last. The serene location, and Bev’s scones, have made it a special place to go when I need a quick get away from the bustle of Vancouver or when I want to take time for a writing retreat. Bev is so kind and thoughtful that I always feel at ease knowing she is close by if I need her for anything. And the 4 decks on the property allow for a variety of views and settings to enjoy the natural environment. Easy access to shopping, restaurants and nature walks.

Relaxing Weekend at Babajamas!

Had a lovely, relaxing stay at Babajamas! I would say that you'd definitely need a car to stay here, as it's far from any amenities. Though if you planned not to leave during your stay (which you definitely could do), then no problem. Check in was easy and Bill greeted us in the driveway and provided a quick tour of the grounds. We settled in and felt right at home. The unit was impeccably clean and had so many nice thoughtful touches (ie. cozy blankets, epsom salts for the bath, scones, popcorn!). It was super private - we had our unit and access to all the decks to ourselves the whole weekend. We appreciated that the deck right outside our unit was covered as we got some rain over the weekend, so we were still able to hang out outside and read. Speaking of outside, the decks and the views were so amazing. We loved watching the float planes come and go and looking out for sea creatures. It felt like our own private little resort! I would say if you're BYO-kayaks/SUPs etc, to paddle them to Babajamas from the public (?) water access down the road as from the suite down to the water is a lot of steep narrow steps! We utilized the BBQ (easy to use) and the kitchen was very well-equipped (including ground coffee but also had a french press, seasonings, all kitchenware you'd really need). We self-catered for the majority of our trip. Overall had an amazing time at Babajamas and would highly recommend!

Bill and Bev were excellent hosts. They were attentive to our needs and very approachable. Bill offered to help us unload the car. There are stairs to get into the unit, which was fine for us but would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The views from the various decks are wonderful. The unit and the bed was very comfortable. The scones and homemade granola were a nice welcome. There is a toaster, microwave, counter top oven with airfryer, a bbq and a two burner induction plate for cooking. Just be aware that you cannot plug in and use more than one electric cooking implement at a time. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

Bev and Bill’s vacation rental unit was very well kept and super clean. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs. Bev and Bill were both so very welcoming and helpful in every way, from helping us unload our vehicle into the suite in our arrival, to making great suggestions about where to eat, walk/hike and shop! Our little dog, Boba, really enjoyed his stay, too. He even got to visit with the hosts for a little while! Thank you so much for making our stay so relaxing and healing, too. Lovely property with great views, very clean. The views of the water are fabulous and we were greeted with very tasty scones and jam and a bottle of lemonade. We left something behind at the property and Bev was great giving us alternatives to get our items if we couldn’t get back in time to catch the next ferry. Very helpful and a lot of local knowledge. Thanks Bev we really enjoyed our stay
