This gorgeous farm offers an attentive host, beautiful pastoral land (with free-roaming cows & sheep) and the sweetest farm dog named Sam. The property provides direct access to the K&P hiking trail for a scenic hiking experience. The indoor space is wonderfully cozy with comfortable beds & traditional farmhouse decor. We were even gifted some farm fresh eggs for our breakfast! We had a peaceful, comfortable and unforgettable getaway. Thanks Don for your hospitality!

We had such a wonderful two-night stay at the farm with our family! The kids especially loved seeing the cows and calves—it was definitely one of the highlights of the trip.Don was an exceptional host—so friendly, welcoming, and thoughtful. He went above and beyond to make us feel at home. He brought us fresh farm eggs in the morning and even picked up fresh apples for us. Those little touches really made our stay special. The farm was peaceful, quiet, clean, and very well organized. We really enjoyed having the BBQ available and spending relaxed family time in such a beautiful and tranquil setting. It was a great break from the usual busy routine. The only couple of issues we experienced were that the Wi-Fi router wasn’t working during our stay, and the listing mentions three bathrooms, whereas there is actually one 3-piece bathroom. That said, these were minor issues compared with the overall experience. We truly enjoyed our stay and the hospitality we received from Don. The kids had a fantastic time, and we made some wonderful family memories. We would definitely love to come back!

Why they chose this property

It was the rolling hills and a charming farmhouse that first drew me in. Inspired by a vision to create a regenerative hobby farm, I was met with a warm welcome from the people of Frontenac, who truly appreciated the goals I was working toward.

What makes this property unique

Amberleigh Farms spans 183 acres of rolling countryside just an hour north of Kingston, Ontario. This thoughtfully restored hobby farm is home to cattle, sheep, chickens and pigs with wide open spaces to explore and enjoy. The Guest House provides privacy for up to 6 adults with 3 bedrooms on the upper level. The main level holds a well equipped kitchen, living/dining areas and a 4 piece bathroom.
